That night when Chan asked Jeongin out on a dinner date
After Chan finished his rounds with his patients, he looked at the time and it's time to fetch Jeongin
Chan was smiling ear to ear while walking in the hallway feeling excited for tonight's agenda
On the other hand, Jeongin is very anxious and nervous because of the event that's going to happen later today
Chan arrived where Jeongin was stationed and saw Jeongin busy checking medical records intently
"Hey there" Chan said and Jeongin looked up and smiled at the sight
"Heyy, I was finalizing some of these then I'm off to go" Jeongin replied and smiled
"Sure, I'll just gonna go get my bag then go here after" Chan replied and went on his way to get his bag while Jeongin finishes his work
Chan arrived once again at the station and found Jeongin was nowhere to be seen
"Did he ditched our date? Nahh I'm probably just overthinking... right??" Chan muttered to himself
"Hey!" Jeongin said from behind with his bag
"Hey there, thought you left me already" Chan replied
"That's absurd, I'm not that kind of person y'know. I just took my bag from my locker" Jeongin replied
"Okayy, let's go to my car?" Chan asked
Jeongin nodded and Chan lead the way as Jeongin followed him from behind, then Chan noticed
"Why are you at the back? Come here" Chan said as he took Jeongin's arms and snaked his arms around Jeongin's waist
"Now that's better, isn't it?" Chan asked the younger
"Yep, better" Jeongin replied back making the both of them smile
The two arrived at their destination, a restaurant to be exact. Fancy enough but not too formal.
The two sat on a table for two and both ordered their food to eat for the night
"Thank goodness, there are only few people here. I hate crowded places especially when I eat." Jeongin said making Chan smile
"Well, looks like we have something in common too" Chan replied
"Who else did you invited to eat here in the past? This looks fancy and romantic to have a date isn't it" Jeongin said
"You. Just you" Chan replied
"That makes me feel special" Jeongin said
"Well, you are"
"So what do you like about someone? Y'know the qualities that you like" Chan suddenly asked
Jeongin was taken aback by the sudden question and fixed his composure
"Is it too personal? Sorry I should've just asked nothing personal. Sorry if that made you uncomfortable" Chan blabbered out as he panics
"No no no, it's okay. I was just surprised that's all. Well don't be disappointed."
"Don't worry, I won't"
"I don't tend to seek a specific quality from a person, as long as we are comfortable with each other, love, or maybe I do have a specific quality that I like about someone, someone who's really mature. If it comes, then it comes" Jeongin said
"Just like me?" Chan teased the younger
"Yep, just like you" Jeongin realized to what he accidentally blurted out as his eyes turned wide
"Oh God, forget what I just said" Jeongin groaned and slammed his head on the table
Chan checked the younger's forehead, afraid that it might bruise. He feels happy and sorry at the same time
"So perhaps, do you like me?" Chan asked trying his best not to smile
"I'm not gonna deny it. Yes, I do like you. Guess this will be the end of our friendship. Ugh I hate myself" Jeongin replied in despair still resting his forehead on the table
"Guess this is the end" Chan replied
"Yeah, sorry for wasting our friendship"
"So, our friendship ended. Wanna be my boyfriend?" Chan asked Jeongin who opened his eyes and looked at Chan
"Wait what? Chan if you're getting back at me for liking you, please spare me and my feeble life" Jeongin replied
"I'm serious Innie. Now that I know that you like me, I'm not gonna waste more time since I do really like you. Well, ever since I met you at your station. So please sit straight and look at me." Chan said as Jeongin shyly lifts his head
"Now, I'm gonna ask you again. Will you be my boyfriend?" Chan asked
"If you sign up for this, you will regret it" Jeongin replied preventing his urge to crack a smile
"Baby, I signed up ever since I met you. I'm ready for anything" Chan replied
"Okay, I can be your boyfriend" Jeongin shyly replied and Chan smiled widely
"So get ready for some cuteness overload and savageness from me because you signed up for this" Jeongin added
"I'm all ready for everything" Chan replied
"So... hi boyfriend" Jeongin said making Chan shy all of a sudden
"Stop with the cuteness. I might kiss you here" Chan replied trying his best not to squeal
"You can give me kisses here" Jeongin said as he pointed his cheeks
