LIZZIE'S POV:

All I can think about is the sweet girl I just met as I drive back to set. I arrive at the studio completely off my ball game. I suck it up and get through the scene. After the scene, I'm just zoning out thinking about Addy and going back to see if she's still at the park.

"Lizzie? Are you okay?" asks Scarlett, snapping me from my thoughts. "Yeah. I just met the sweetest girl, named Addy. She's about nine years old, from the looks of it. I didn't get around to asking. She was sitting on a park bench in Central Park. Anyways, she has a message for you all," I say. "Well, what is it?" asks Robert Downy Jr. "She says, "Tell the Marvel cast thank you for saving my life," I say, quoting Addy. "Awww, that's so sweet! What did her parents say about that?" says Scarlett. "Well, that's the thing. I asked her where her parents were, and she didn't respond. Not out loud, at least. She muttered something. She also had a big bruise on her left cheek and a bad black eye on her right eye. Then she changed the subject, and I let it slide, not wanting to intrude. After that, I autographed a picture of us for her. Then Scarlett called me telling me to come back. Then I said goodbye, hugged her again and walked to my car to race over here to film the scene," I say. "Are you kidding me?! You left a child alone in Central Park!" shrieks Chris Evans. Geez, he's such a mother hen. But then again, it's a child in question, so in this case, it makes sense. "First off, I just met her, second off, she didn't say if she had parents or not, third I couldn't just bring her here on set, I have no one to watch her, and she still hasn't told me a lot," I say defending myself. "I guess," sighs Chris Evans. I say goodbye to everyone, and I leave the studio. I drive back to the park, and sure enough, Addy is exactly where I left her on the bench. She's lying on her back, looking up at the stars. I get out of my car and walk up to her. I kneel next to the bench. "Addy!" I say. She sits up. "Lizzie?" says Addy. "Yeah! It's me!" I say. She smiles ear to ear.

ADDY'S POV:

I'm lying on my back, gazing up at the stars, when I hear a familiar voice say my name. I sit up and see my favorite person kneeling next to the bench. "Lizzie?" I ask. "Yeah! It's me!" says Lizzie. "You came back! Why?" I say, unsure of why a global celebrity like her would come back for an orphan like me. Then I remember I haven't told her that I'm an orphan.

LIZZIE'S POV:

I'm shocked. She just asked why I would come back. "I came back because I wanted to see you again. Earlier, you went quiet and muttered something when I asked you about your parents. I want to make sure you're okay," I say. Addy smiles softly.

ADDY'S POV:

What Lizzie just said was so sweet! She's actually worried about me. I can't believe that Elizabeth Olsen is worried about me, of all people. I take a deep breath and say, "Okay. I'll tell you what's going on and why I went quiet earlier." I take another deep breath, and Lizzie holds my hands in hers. "I'm an orphan. I've been an orphan my whole life. As for the bruises, the orphanage caretaker, Mr. Roderick, abuses me for basically no reason. It happens at least twice a day," I say.

LIZZIE'S POV:

I feel sick listening to Addy talk about her backstory. Poor thing. I can't believe that she went through all of this. I also can't believe someone would do that to her. She's so sweet and gentle. "Awww, sweetie. I'm so sorry," I say, hugging her. She winces. "Ow," she mutters. "Oh, sorry," I say. "It's okay," says Addy. "No, it's not okay. No one should ever treat you that way," I say. Addy shrugs. "That's the way I've been treated my whole life," says Addy. Then I have an idea. "Addy, how about you come home with me to my apartment. I wouldn't be able to sleep at all at the thought of you sleeping on this cold park bench," I say.

ADDY'S POV:

Lizzie just offered for me to sleep at her house for the night! I can't believe it! "Wait, you aren't going to take me back you the orphanage?" I ask. "Yeah. I'm not taking you back there. Not tonight at least," says Lizzie. I smile. "I don't want to be a burden," I say. "You are not a burden, Addy, and you have never been, and you never will be," says Lizzie. "Okay. Yes! I'll come home with you!" I say. "I thought so," says Lizzie smiling. She stands up and reaches out her hand for me to take. I stand up and put my backpack on. I hold her hand as she leads me to her car. I climb in the backseat and buckle in. Lizzie hops in the driver's seat, and we start driving. I look out the window at the pretty New York lights. I fall asleep shortly, knowing that I'm safe.
