"Girl! Way to make use of that hair!" Alya squealed as she spun Marinette around to get a good look at her costume. Her blue hair was no longer in pigtails and the bangs were pinned to the side by a dragonfly hair clip. She wore a simple yellow raincoat paired with a red skirt, red and white striped leggings, and yellow rain boots.

Marinette giggled at the praise. "Thanks! It took me about three weeks, and I am never making raincoats again." She shows Alya the small pricks and scars on her fingers. Her creole friend gives her a sympathetic look. "Oh! And check this out!" She reaches into her backpack and pulls out a button-eyed doll with blue hair. "I made a little me!"

"Yeesh," Alya shuddered. "Kinda creepy. Did you make that, or did a weird kid in a trench coat give it to you?" Off her joke and clever reference, Marinette laughed.

"You really went all out, ladies," Nino remarked as he walked into the classroom wearing a red hoodie with multiple patches ironed on. In his hand, he carried a bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red. He wraps an arm around Alya and kisses her cheek. "Hello, Princess Shuri."

"Michael Mell," Alya smirked while twirling one of her braids. "Is Jeremy with you?"

"Ta-dah!" Adrien cheered as he slid into the room wearing a blue cardigan over a red, white, and blue striped shirt paired with some jeans and blue converse. In his hands, he held a bottle of Mountain Dew and a case of wintergreen tic-tacs. "What do you think?"

"I think your dad either went blind or he fainted when you walked out wearing that," Alya snickered. "Seriously, Gabriel let you go out wearing this? Doesn't he hate cardigans?"

Adrien gave an enthusiastic nod. "Yeah, but when I explained to him my costume is from a Broadway play, he went with it! I just hope he doesn't look it up, though. Oh, and Alya, I'll have to steal your boyfriend tonight."

"And why is that?" She shot Nino a pointed look.

They answered by taking off their backpacks and holding them next to each other. On Adrien's backpack, he wrote the word 'Boyf', and Nino wrote 'Riends' on his. This caused those who were in the classroom to erupt into laughter. Marinette even snaps a photo with her phone.

"Nino, your mothers will be so thrilled," she teased.

"Okay! Okay!" Alya cackled. "I'm cool with this. You two have my blessing! Get married, even!"

"You do make a cute couple," Kim said, as he slung an arm around his shorter boyfriend. "But not as cute as us, obviously!"

Max playfully rolled his eyes as he straightened his bat-shaped bow tie. "Aren't you glad I talked you out of those Harley Quinn and Joker costumes?"

Kim pouted, "I would've looked hot in those shorts!"

Max used his skeleton-glove-covered fingers to comb through Kim's long red wig. "You can wear it for me after school."

"Kinky, aren't we...?" Kim's eyes trail over to the door, and he nearly jumps out of his seat in fright. "Oh, God! That's uh..."

"Damn, Jules," was all Nino said while the rest just stared at their gothic friend who is dressed in a white a-line prom dress with a sweetheart neckline, and atop her head is a silver tiara with little diamonds scattered about. If it weren't for the ton of blood splattered all over her face, sash, the bouquet of roses, and her entire dress, she'd look like a real Prom Queen. "That's... Very creative."

She and Rose laughed. "That's what officer Raincomprix said. I got a few stares when I walked here with Rose." She gestures to her girlfriend dressed in rose-gold knight armor and carrying a sword and a shield with a flaming Purple Heart painted on the front, a dedication to her girlfriend no doubt.
