"So, when is it?"

"This is going to be so romantic!"

"You up for a double date?"

"Alya, no!"

"Alya, yes!"

"Why'd you wait so long to tell us?"

Normally when he was the center of attention, Nathaniel would do one of the following, cover his face with his sketchbook, his hands, or back when he used to wear them, hide in his hoodie. But he was just so high on joy, that the redhead didn't mind all of the positive responses thrown his way and the occasional supportive pats on the back from his friends.

Rose suddenly gripped his shoulders and shook him back and forth. "Answers, Nath! I need answers!"

Once Juleka managed to calm her girlfriend down and pry the blonde off of him, Nathaniel took a second to recompose himself and said, "Well, I wanted to be absolutely sure everything was set before I told you guys. So, Marc and I started making plans to go out and celebrate after our latest comic-"

"Love it, by the way!" Kim interrupted, giving two thumbs up.

Nathaniel gave him an appreciative nod then continued, "Well, it was our highest selling issue, and it just so happened to get the attention of the coordinators at the upcoming Comic Book Convention."

"Nathaniel. Quinlan. Kurtzberg, you better say what I think," Alix said sternly.

He grinned. "We're getting our own booth!"

The class went into a frenzy, congratulating Nathaniel a second time. Rose even wrapped her arms around him and lifted him up off the floor, something that would be more impressive if the redhead didn't weigh less than the skeleton hanging in the science lab. Once she set him down, Kim and Nino took turns tussling his hair.

"This is going to be amazing for you guys!" Adrien cheered. "You and Marc deserve to go out, this is a really big deal!"

"And this will be your first non-group date," Max added.

Alya squealed, practically bouncing on her toes. "I'm going to that convention, and I'm going to be first in line at your booth! You can bet on it!" Quickly, she whipped out her phone and went to the convention website to order her ticket.

"Well, don't leave us in suspense, Nathaniel," Chloe snarked, but not in her usually mean tone of voice. She almost sounded genuinely happy for the redhead. "When are you two nerds going out? What's going to happen?"

"This weekend, I've got it all planned out." The class listened intently to his plans, loving every description Nathaniel gave. The comic book duo's date would start off at a new restaurant that had just recently opened by the Eiffel Tower, one with a theme inspired by the heroes of Paris. Each menu has multiple sections dedicated to each hero, and all of the options are based on them or their preferences, with Ryuko's section having spicy food to fit her dragon theme, for example. Then, they'll head to their favorite comic book store to finally get a French copy of this American comic they've heard so much about. And finally, a walk to Pont Des Arts where the two will put their own lock on the famous bridge.

Marinette could no longer contain her excitement and burst into tears of absolute joy knowing that her cousin was going on the perfect date. "That is so beautiful!" She tried to fan her tears away, but they just kept coming.

"Superhero restaurant," Nino said, shooting Nathaniel the finger guns in approval. "Classy."

"Make sure to check out Rena's section in the menu," Alya piped up. "I heard the chefs make the food look like bags of chips, purses, it's a literal mirage!"
