Fusion was now waiting in Dawko's room, holding the plushie Dawko had given him. Dawko had told him to wait there while he was reheating the food that had gotten cold. Fusion wanted to tell Dawko all his feelings. He would tell Dawko not to propose to Jessica. And if Dawko would ask him why? He wouldn't have an answer. He would need to come up with a reason why. Fusion stared at the Dawko plushie. "He's probably talking to Jessica again.." He said out loud to the doll. "What should I do?"
"♪ So what I'm gonna do is fall for you and walk out to the edge ♪"
"You make a good point." Fusion said with a shrug.
"♪ Taking it further I find here a murder ♪"
"What? No! I can't kill Jessica." Fusion said, shaking his head at the doll.
"♪ Taking it further I find here a murder ♪"
"Stop that." Fusion said, shaking the plushie lightly.
Fusion heard the floorboards outside creak. Then the doorknob opened.
"Do you like the plushie?" Dawko asked as he saw Fusion holding the Plushie. Fusion nodded. "It's very well made." He said as he looked back at Dawko. Fusion set down the plushie on the table. Dawko handed Fusion a plate of food. Fusion had no idea what was on the plate but he would eat it anyways. Dawko sat down next to him and began eating. "Where does your girlfriend sleep?" Fusion had asked Dawko out of curiosity. "She doesn't live here." Dawko said, taking a small break from eating just to say it. "Oh." Fusion said, thinking about his answer. "Then when does she leave?"
"Whenever she wants to." Dawko said in a polite tone.
"Don't you want to hang out with her while she's here?" Dawko shook his head. "Brandon, I haven't seen you in years. She understands. I want to spend all the time with you that I can before you leave. Who knows when I'll next see you." Dawko said with a small chuckle. Fusion felt somewhat relieved. At least his girlfriend wouldn't be completely in the way. "So..when are we playing that Fnaf 64 game?" Fusion said, trying to change the topic. "We don't have to do it today. You just got here."
Fusion nodded and just continued to eat. Then he heard a knock at the door. "Come in, you don't need to knock. We aren't doing anything." Dawko said, mouth full of food. Sometimes, Fusion would wish they were doing something. Something to tell Jessica that she has competition. Fusion of course didn't like Dawko in that way. He just wanted to let Jessica know that it would take a lot to get Dawko to herself. That gave Fusion an idea. An idea he might have to save for later. Fusion and Dawko had finished eating just as Jessica let herself in. "I'll get it." Dawko said as he picked up both of their plates and walked out of the room to take it to the kitchen.
That left Fusion and Jessica. Alone. Fusion kept quiet, looking at the Dawko plushie so he wouldn't have to look at her. "That took you awhile." Jessica said to Fusion. "What do you mean?"
"Why did it take you so long to get the food?" Jessica asked, frowning slightly. "I was hungry." She said innocently. "Traffic." Fusion stated simply. "Oh really?"
"Really."
"Well make sure 'Traffic' doesn't happen again."
"What..do you mean?"
"I don't like you hanging around my boyfriend."
"But I'm his best friend?"
"And that's all you will ever be to him. In case you didn't know, he's straight."
"He's straight?"
