Part 43

The doorbell rang. Fusion and Dawko both frowned. "Who is that?" Fusion asked. "I don't know." Dawko said, pausing the game. "Was anyone supposed to come over?" Fusion asked. "No." Dawko said, standing up. "I guess we'll have to continue our game later." Dawko said, patting Fusion on the shoulder gently as he left the room. Fusion wondered if Jessica was at the door. He wouldn't be surprised, he knew Dawko was still missing her. A minute later Dawko came back into his room. "Brandon." Dawko said. Fusion looked at him questioningly. "Did you..invite anyone over?" Dawko asked him. "Uh, no." Fusion said. "Why? Who was it?" He added. "Wills here, and two other people." Dawko said. "Will?" Fusion stood up and came downstairs to the front door.

Fusion opened the door. "Hey Brandon, The one and only, FusionZGamer." Silver said, holding their hand out.  "Hi, Silver." Fusion said, giving Silver a high five. Rachel smiled as she watched them interact. As if she knew they would be a great couple. Will looked at Rachel with an annoyed expression before looking back at Fusion. "What are you doing here?" Fusion asked. "I don't know, Rachel just told me we were coming over and so—here we are." Silver said. "No one ran anything by me." Dawko said, he hated unexpected visitors. "My bad." Silver said. "You must be..Lewis, Lewis Dawkins. The YouTuber Dawko. I'm a huge fan." Silver said with a smile. "Yes I am. I've never heard of you before though." Dawko said. "Well, I'm not big on YouTube. Only 42k subscribers." Silver said. "I meant in general." Dawko said. "Oh." Silver responded.

"You have a YouTube channel? What's it called?"

"SilverGamez."

"And you go by Silver too?"

"Yeah, sometimes people call me Sam though."

"I see." Dawko said. He was always glad to met a fan but this wasn't a particularly interesting conversation to Dawko. "Well why don't you guys come on in? " Dawko said, moving out of the way so they could walk inside. Silver walked inside first, followed by Will, and then Rachel. Dawko stared at Rachel for a moment as she walked inside. Her face seemed familiar to him. "Did we interrupt on anything?" Silver asked. "We were just playing a game." Fusion said. "It's Fnaf 63, you should try it."

"Already did, and it was really—"

"Boring." Silver and Fusion said in unison. Rachel nudged Will and whispered. "Look at them, they're finishing each other's sentences." Will shook his head. "That doesn't mean a thing." Will said, getting more annoyed every time Rachel talked to him. Dawko looked over at Rachel and Will, he happened to hear their conversation. He then looked over at Fusion and Silver with a frown. Fusion and Silver continued talking about Fnaf 63. He felt himself becoming slightly jealous. It seemed like Fusion had a new best friend. "Brandon can you come into my room with me for a moment? I need your help with something." This was true, he did need his help. Fusion and Silver stopped talking. Fusion looked over. "Oh sure," Fusion said. Fusion followed Dawko into his room. "So, what did you need my help with?" Fusion asked. "I just wanted to turn off the game and pick up the snacks. Since we won't be in here for a while." Dawko said. Fusion and Dawko both reached over, trying to pick up the plate of toast Dawko brought earlier. Their hands accidentally touched as they both tried to pick it up. Fusion pulled his hand away while Dawko kept his hand on the plate. "I'm sorry, did you want to pick it up?" Dawko asked him. "No, no, it's okay. I can just turn off the game." Fusion said. Dawko nodded, picking up the plate and leaving the room. Fusion sighed when Dawko left the room. Dawko walked back into the kitchen. "Ooo, Lewis!" Rachel said. Dawko looked over. "Tell me, is Fusion single?" Rachel asked. "Um, I think so. Why, are you interested?" Dawko asked. "No, no, it's not for me. It's for a really close friend." Rachel said, smiling slightly. "I don't know, Fusion might be taken soon." Will said, crossing his arms at Rachel. Silver looked at Will, catching on to what he was talking about. "Maybe someday. It's taking a really long time. It's been what, 43...something." Silver said. Dawko stared at all of them. "What on earth are you guys talking about?" Dawko said, staring at them like they were crazy. He shook his head to himself and put the plate of toast away. "Is that all you needed help with?" Fusion called out, leaving Dawko's room.

The three of them looked over at Fusion. "What?" Fusion said when he saw all of them staring.
