"Psst," a quiet voice made itself known. You quickly recognized it as Yangzi, and knew he was trying to get your attention.

"What's up?" You whispered back, leaning ever so slightly over towards his desk to keep quiet while Mr. Mitch was going on about...something..? You hadn't really been paying attention; all you knew was he had some suspicious plants drawn on the chalkboard.

"We still—"

"Mr. Mitch, this is all very interesting, but I'm having a really difficult time hearing you over the other freakshows talking during class!" An all-too-familiar brunette announced, his hand raised with that same smug expression on his face.  It was then you and Yangzi shared a look that said two words, and two words only: 'fuckin' Donovan.'
After Mr. Mitch asked the two of you to keep it quiet during class, the two of you swiftly whipped out your phones under your desks, tapping your pens on the light wood in sync and signaling the others to hop online.
