"Argh!" I growl, the saws coming closer to me. I make my sword and shield come out.
"Laser barrage!" I yell, a hoard of laser shooting from my sword and making the saws retreat.
"Electric hydro slice!" I order, the blade of the sword transforming into water with electricity surging through it. I easily slice through the metal of the saws.
I make the shield and blade retreat as lasers shoot my way. I somersault and flip around them, then use my shield.
"Mirror protect!" I say, the shield reflecting the lasers back to the shooters, making them explode.
I come to the end of the obstacle course, putting the shield back away and crossing my arms.
"How's that for slow, Tomato?" I smirk. Sparx raises an eyebrow.
"Never gonna let that go, are ya?" he grins.
"No, I say what I want," I shoot back. "Don't pay any attention to it; just keep your focus on chasing after Nova."
Nova's cheeks go a little red, but she rolls on the ground laughing whenever Sparx ultimately fails at trying to come up with a comeback.
"I don't- you- Siren- argh!" Sparx yells, tossing his hands over his head. "I'm done, okay? Done!" He goes into his elevator, going into his room.
"Geez, and they say we're the ones with mood swings," I remark. Nova and Jinmay laugh.
"What, girl monkey robots or just girls in general?" Markus asks, walking over to us. I'd forgotten he was watching us train.
"General," I state.
"Oh." Markus cracks his knuckles. "So when's my turn?" We look at him slyly.
"I was joking!" he stammers.
"Too late," Sparx scoffs, grabbing Markus's arm and dragging him to the combat room.
