"If you want to die so badly, there are other ways," Mujin said, lighting up a cigarette and taking a puff. The atmosphere was now calm after Mujin had saved us from those thugs. I could hear the city's cars honk by as the wind blew in my face, it was nice.

"You don't have to intervene with what we do," Jiwoo said.

I looked at her with a deadpanned expression. Is she kidding?

"No, don't listen to the idiot. I for one, am happy I didn't meet the same fate as daddy dearest" I snapped at her. She made me run in heels AND get me beat? I ain't having it.

Mujin half scoffed-laughed and went on with smoking. While Jiwoo ignored me and continued, "Have you caught the murderer?"

He doesn't respond.

"So, it's a no?" She said again.

"Don't act so smug if you don't want to die by the streets," His tone changed, becoming more hostile.

"But how can I stay still? When no one's investigating! The police, you, even my own sister!"

I looked away, feeling ashamed. "What good will it do, Jiwoo? Our dad has many enemies. For all we know, it could be this gentleman over here"

Mujin looked at me harshly. "He was a good friend of mine"

And yet you didn't deny it.

"I want my revenge," Jiwoo said through her gritted teeth.

"Are you prepared to do anything for it?" He asked, challenging her.

I sighed, having enough of this revenge talk.

"Let me handle that on my own," Jiwoo the stupid said.

Great. Amazing. Now I have to join because I'm a nice sister. I get up from my ass and announced, "Alright, folks! I will follow my little sister. How does that sound mister Mujin?"

"To get revenge, you'll have to know how to kill. I'll be taking you to the gym I own this weekend, so pack your things," he gave us more details about our plan.

We were about to go our separate ways before Mujin caught my arm.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You'll get home in that?" he pointed towards what I was wearing. It was a pink lace dress that didn't leave much to the imagination, with its low plunge neckline and short bottom.

I laughed at him and before I was going to walk away again, he took off his suit's blazer and put it over my shoulders. "You'll get a cold without it"

"Why, I never knew drug lords are such gentlemen," I flashed him a smile.

"Shut up, I'm your father's age, kid"

"Okayyy, I'm off!"

Jiwoo looked at me weird, so I flicked her forehead and dragged her home, waiting for the weekend to come.

One day before Mujin picks us up, he messages me.

"Have you packed your stuff?"

"um who is this?"

"It's me"

"lol imma block u"

"Wait. It's your father's friend"

Oh. He probably couldn't say his name through the phone since he might get traced through illegal activities.

"oh aight. well what's up? and howd u get my number?"
