"Yayyy! Free stuff!" Ayeong ran to the hotel lobby, starry-eyed, looking at the multiple-story tall Christmas tree.
"Ayeong, you get free gifts every day using my credit card," Mujin said, following Ayeong closely behind.
The air was cold and crisp, but the two were in fluffy and thick clothing, making them still comfortably dressed. Ayeong was so excited for this year's gifts and the opportunity she has to spend time with her two busy people: Jiwoo and Mujin. And Taeju, too!
"Where's mine?" She tugged on Mujin's sleeve.
"These are just props for the guests, sweetheart,"
Her smile dropped and she stared into a wall.
"I'll jump off the top floor if you don't give me a present," she threatened.
He laughed at her before dragging her off into his office, showing her where the real gifts are. Mujin had gone all out, giving her many luxury bags he knew she'd been dying for, the fall-winter collection of clothing, jewelry of all sorts, and some candy.
She jumped up and down excitedly, before jumping in the pile of presents. "Are these all for me?" She yelled while her face was still planted in the gift boxes.
"No, the ones with the red ribbons are yours. Blues are Taeju's and green are Jiwoo's," he replied.
Upon hearing, she took her head out and counted what was hers.
"Okay, when are the others coming?" she asked.
"We're here," Taeju and Jiwoo said, coming out of the lift.
"Present time! Can I open them now?" Ayeong hopped off and stared at Mujin.
"Sure," he confirmed.

"Yayy! I love everything! Thank you!" Ayeong said to Mujin.
She suddenly stopped smiling and remembered she hadn't gotten her gifts out to others.
She pulled out a disco ball with her own face on it (for Jiwoo), a Hermes belt for Taeju, and a nicotine-free pack of cigarettes for her hubby.
"Why would you even choose this?" Jiwoo looked disappointed.
"What? It's like dad's so you can play with it after I die," Ayeong replied.
Jiwoo looked like she was going to bitchslap Ayeong.
"A belt?" Taeju questioned.
"Yeah, I didn't know what to give you," she said honestly.
"Cigars? I thought you didn't like me smoking my ass off," Mujin raised his brow.
"They're nicotine-free! I heard they can help in quitting," she explained excitedly.
Mujin didn't have the heart to tell her that he probably won't be using them.
In return, Ayeong got countless expensive stuff from Mujin, a teddy bear with a Santa hat from Jiwoo and a cute snowglobe from Taeju. They all went on to drink some beer and got drunk with each other, enjoying the festive season together.
"A toast to the loveliest people I know!" Ayeong beamed, her face red from the alcohol she drank.
"I don't know if that's what I'd describe a mob boss and his secretary as," Jiwoo joked.
They all laughed and teased her for her joke, sleeping together on the bar table.
