The Night Before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas. Me and gundam were pulling the kids presents out of basement.

Things became a little more difficult ever since we adopted children. For one we have to build the kids Christmas presents and let some fat old guy take the credit! And we have to eat cookies and milk to gundams dismay. Oh well at least the kids will be happy. I mean what could go wron-

We froze as the door opened. Our son gonta stood there with tired eyes.

"mommy daddy gonta can't sleep. May gonta have a drink of water-" I cut him off by pulling him into my chest so he didn't see the presents.

"you can't be awake at this time baby. Santa will be here soon" I carried him back to bed. Gundam flashed me a thumbs up as I left.

I tucked him into bed and read him the night before Christmas. Once I finished he was fast asleep. I smiled and kissed his forehead.

"goodnight sweetheart"

I went back downstairs to discover that gundam had completely finished the kids presents.

"good job hun" I kissed him on the cheek, making him smile.

Looks like Christmas is on the way.
