I was in the kitchen cooking when...

"yo kazuichi I'm here" fuyuhiko kicked down the door and let himself in.

"Jesus fuyu you could have at least called over!" I yelled trying to calm my beating heart.

"sorry I just wanted to show off my new kid" behind him was a little girl with pigtails and red eyes "her names maki. She's the new member of the kuzuryu clan"

"oh my gosh she's so cute" I gasped.

"isn't she?" fuyuhiko smiled slightly "pekos already fallen in love"

"I bet she has" I bent down to her level "hi sweetie my names kazuichi it's nice to meet you-" out of nowhere maki ran up and hugged me.

"that's odd" fuyuhiko said in disbelief "she's never taken a liken to anyone that quickly"

"what can I say. I'm just great with kids" I grinned as I picked her up.

Maki ended up clinging to me throughout the rest of the day. She said she liked the sound of my voice (get it? Cause kazuichi and kaito have the same voice. No? Ok then)

We introduced her to the kids. She didn't like any of them. Especially not kokichi. She called him a rat which fuyuhiko apologised profusely for.

Maybe one day they'll get along!
