Ivory's POV.             A year later

Me and Shade have been living and traveling together for a year now. He has shown me more things about the world that humans walk on. I have never been happier with somebody my whole life.

I noticed that he feels like life here does pass by. I have to agree because it is always the same day. "Are you just going to lean against the tree" I ask him as I was holding my sword. "Yeah, you could use the practice" he said as he leaned more into the tree.

"Come on you can't pretend that you don't want to train" I said as I got into a battle stance. He sighed and smiled shortly and he joined me right after. "Is this what you wanted" he asks me with his sword in his hands. "Yeah" I said cheerfully.

We go at each and the swords clash against one another. I laughed happily well he just had a little smile on him. We pull away and he goes for my leg. I block his sword with my own. "Not good enough" he said we'll I shook my head no.

He draws his sword away from me and I go for his back. He turns me around and he ends up being behind me. He has his hand around my waist and the sword by my throat. "Better" he asks me. "Yes much better" I say as our eyes met.

He slowly puts down his sword by his side. His hand still stays attached to my waist. I felt butterflies all around me. This has been the only year in my life that I was allowed to have fun. Before I would work to become the heir of celestials.

I worked with young ones all the time but I never felt more alive then I do right now. We we're both breathing heavily since we have been training. We train because humans hate the idea of magic. We'll most of them anyway.

I feel his hand slightly going to my stomach. He stays there and he leans his head against mine. "You need to take a breather" he said as his breathing was back to normal. "I'm having fun" I said happily. "You mean losing" he says as he moves his hand away from me.

"Not losing" I say as I turn to face him. "Oh yeah what do you call it than" he says with a smirk. "Hey" I say we'll I playfully get mad at him. He just slightly smiled and rolled his eyes. "You are kinda tolerable" he said as he put his arm on my head.

"Okay" I said as I rolled my eyes well I smiled at him. He laughed but he instantly stopped. I saw that he was looking up. "Hello dear sister" said Irisa as she flew down to us. I was pushed out of the way by Shade.

I found myself on the floor with my wings covering my body. They came out to protect me from the hard ground. I looked up and saw Shade and Irisa's swords clashed together. She had just struck him and he blocked it. This is all my fault.

"No stop Irisa don't hurt him" I said as I pushed myself off the ground. "Kill me right here right now with no tricks" I said as I got on my knees. She flew to the ground and walked to me. She raised her sword and I closed my eyes.

I was waiting for the pain and my death but it never came. I heard the swords sound as they hit each other. I opened my eyes to find Shade and Irisa fighting. "No I want her to end it" I said as I felt sorry for myself. "I can't let you" he said.

"Please stop" I said we'll I dropped my sword on the ground. "I will never" he said as he pushed her off. He turned to look at me and I noticed her sneak behind him. "That's cute" she says as she put her hands on his temple.

"No" I screamed aloud. I grabbed my sword and threw it at her. It cut her wing slightly and a little bit of blood trickledown her feathers. She stopped and he fell to the floor. "I thought you said no tricks" she said with a smile on her face.

"You didn't say anyone else would get hurt" I said as I glared at her. "We'll you didn't say that either" she said as she walked towards me. We both started to circle each other. She went for a punch and my wings blocked her hit.

My wings pulled away and they smacked her across the face. She fell to the ground with a thud. She pushed her self up and I saw her nose started to bleed. "Look who grew up" she said as she flew towards me. Her strength pushed me into the tree.

I felt the bark of the tree against my wings. I was starting to struggle against her. She was using her wings to push me and hold me against the bark. I felt splinters going into my wings each time I felt myself being pushed into the bark.

I was trying to push her off and that's when I saw Shade slash his sword against her wings. She screamed in pain and dropped to the floor. I pushed her off of me and she took a step back so she can stop herself from falling.

"I will kill you" she said as she looked at me. She looked up to the sky and flew away. Her wings weren't able to fly that good but I knew that she would be back. I was going to get her but Shade grabbed me and held me close.
