Coryn's POV

I was in my room making dresses. I was watching little Melody. Ivory was asleep in her bedroom. Melody wanted to stay awake. I was almost finished with the thread. I looked to Melody and I put everything away.

I grabbed Melody and took her outside. We we're on the clouds. I saw Kaela and Amore outside playing together. They had a ball and started to kick it around. I laughed at them well they played.

Melody was grabbing the cloud and it would start to fly up. She laughed happily at the floating clouds. She made me love her even more. I always loved babies and she was the cutest one of all.

Lyra and Leyton flew towards us and landed right next to me. "Look how cute" said Leyton as his voice went high pitched. "Hey Melody" said Lyra as she said it in a baby voice. We all looked at Melody in aww. "She is so cute" I said aloud.

Of course us three agreed. We all started to play with her. We first started to lift clouds into the sky. She laughed and clapped her hands. For a baby she learns fast. She also grows fast because she is a goddess.

We made a bunny out of clouds for her. She had the biggest smile when she saw it. She tried to grab it with her baby hands. I watched as Leyton grabbed her and picked her up. He helped her try to reach for it. I smiled feeling he would be an amazing brother in law.

When he picked Melody up she started to laugh even louder. I looked to Lyra and she had a blush on her face. She looked at him with loving eyes. As she stood beside me I nudged her with my elbow.

She looked to me and I leaned into her. "You should tell him how you feel" I said as I whispered into her ear. "What no, what if he doesn't feel the same way" she said as she looked freaked out.

"You can only tell if he tells you how he feels" I said hoping she would understand my advice. "It's harder to say then you think it is" she said as she crossed her arms. Her eyebrows raised as she looked at me.

"It's not" I said as I gave her the same look. "Well tell him that" she said as she pointed to someone behind me. I turned around and there I saw him. It was my crush who I wrote about in my diary. I turned around and tried to play it off.

"Him" I said with a smile. "You can't fool me because he is in your diary" she said as she smirked at me. "How do you know that" I said since she figured it out. "You know he is like a stranger to everyone" said Lyra.

"I know but his brother is Gael" I said and she understood how that feels. He is out shined by his brother. He is quite and mysterious. That is why I always loved that. I guess that is my type.

I saw him training with a staff. He was a better fighter with it. It was his weapon of choice. I scratched my arms nervously. "If you do it than I will tell Leyton" said Lyra. "Deal" I said as we shook on it. We finalized our agreement.

I turned away from Lyra and I started to walk towards him. I left them behind not scared of facing him after all these years. I walked until he noticed I was there. He placed his staff behind his shoulders.

"What is wrong Coryn" he asked as his hair blew in the wind. His dark brown hair reminded me of chocolate. I started to get even nervous. "I like you, I always have" I said as I closed my eyes.

I wasn't going to open my eyes until he finished talking but he never said anything. The next thing I knew was his staff was against my back. I felt myself being pushed forward.

I opened my eyes when I felt my lips being pressed against his. My hand was on his chest and I felt him breath slowly. I melted into the kiss but we both pulled back. "I have always liked you too" he said.

"Vylad when did you like me" I said confused. "I liked you when you made your first dress" he said as he lifted the staff behind me against my back. "That was so long ago" I said remembering that was more than entirety. "Why didn't you say anything" I asked him.

"I was scared of you not loving me the same because you had other guys in your life. I honestly thought that I was someone that didn't matter because I was scared of losing you because of me" he said as I held his face in my hands.

"I would have told you that nothing would ever change since I felt the same. Your marks are on my heart" I said as I mentioned to his scars from when the demons attacked us. He just had marks now. "I wanted to tell you this" I said happily.

"I am glad that you did" he said as his wings popped out. He flapped his wings making a gust of wind blow through the air. When I looked up I saw pink flowers petals of every kind fly into the air. He twirled me around and he flew us into them.

I saw many pink flower petals fly down on us and he made my heart gleam in joy. "Would you like to be with me" he asked when we stayed hovering over the ground. "Yes" I said and that's when we knew we we're truly together. "Can we stay like this forever" I asked him.

"We can" he said and more flowers blew in the wind above us. I looked up to the sky and I saw clouds mixing with the petals. "This is for you Vylad" said Leyton. "Pretty" said Melody as she reached for the petals when she was sitting on Leyton's shoulders. I looked to Lyra and said "Now it's your turn Lyra."
