Happy Beans Day ~Reclaim the Golden Harp!~, Part 3

Seeing that they were surrounded by all sides by the Monster Team, Willow and Cater knew that the only way out is to fight. The air was tense between the three sets of teams. It only took one step from one of the members of Monster Team, but Cater unholstered his Bean Shooter and began firing at the members at their left side. A couple of beans hit their target and was once began to stumble from the impact, Cater gripped Willow's hand and the group quickly ran through the forest as the rest gave chase.

They needed to gain some distance and some cover to take out the Monsters. Once they were a little far, the two broke off and jumped into the bushes. Staying quiet and well-hidden as the Monster Team ran into view. Searching the area for any sign of them. Willow nearly sighed in relief. Thankful that what Cater said about their camo gear was right. The magic coating the clothing was hiding them perfectly. Willow held up one of the beans on her person and waited for the chance to strike. Perhaps she can pose as a distraction for Cater to get away to another safe point. The green-eyed senior peeked through the bushes and saw that most of the Monster Team were searching through the bushes. The place where Willow was hiding in. Thinking fast, Cater re-counted his ammunition and sprang up from the bushes and began firing.

At his unspoken cue, Willow and Grim got up and began to through their beans at their opponents. Of course, with Grim's bad aim and reckless throwing, he often misses the other team. The monster team now decided to get serious and charge at the Farmers head-on. Not wanting to waste any more ammo, the group ran off further and further into the forest. Willow tried to keep up with Cater, occasionally looking over her shoulder, only to scare herself when she saw that the Monster Team was getting closer and closer. She swiftly turned her head and shut her eyes, running faster as best she could. Because she was looking where she was going, Willow unknowingly ran in an opposite direction, separating from Cater and Grim. The rest of the Monster Team split up to take them out, two of the members ran after the white-haired girl.

Willow ran through the trees, hearing the rapid footsteps of the Monsters behind her. She quickly checked her equipment and saw that she had only six beans left. So going on the offensive was too risky and she can't aim while running. She needed to find a place to hide. Willow looked to the side and dove into the bushes. She tumbled on the ground and found a large log. She quickly went behind it. Laying still and silent on her as she heard the footsteps stop. "Where did she go?!"

"She couldn't have gotten that far. Search around, she could be hiding."

Willow covered her mouth to silence her breathing when she heard them walking around. Oh, where were Cater and Grim? Were they alright? Had they found a place to hide? What if they had run out of beans? Willow flinched when she heard a twig snap. She slowly lifted her eyes and saw one of the Monsters Standing above. Looking around the surroundings, but he doesn't seem to know she was there. Yet. Oh no! The fairies in her pocket saw the boy and were getting nervous. Rosebell turned to Zephyrine and silently pleaded with her to use some of her magic to distract him. But Zephyrine shook her head. Explaining that if she did, then the Monster Team will know something's wrong as they were no breeze flowing through the forest and Willow will get in trouble.

But then, just before the boy looked down, he felt something whoosh past his head. A red splotch splattered on a nearby tree. A bean?! What the-? "Hey! There's a Farmer over here! Gah!" He heard his team member yell out. The boy then quickly turned around saw the Farmer. His deep blue eyes were fearless and he cheerfully smiled at him as he fired his bean shooters. The boy ducked down and ran off to give chase. "Get back here!" Willow lifted her head and saw the boy running after her fellow Farmer. Although she couldn't thank him, she'd hope to find him and express her gratitude. Still, she couldn't stay here for long. She has to find Cater and Grim.
