- Tuesday night, Halloween Week, Day three -

- Inside the Ramshackle Dorm -

They could see faint shadows of towering, tall trees side by side in the forest. It was dark out. All the critters were either asleep or had gone elsewhere. Though it hadn't ended just yet, the Halloween Festival was still going on and everyone was out walking around campus enjoying themselves, one group of friends - or rather idiots - had broken away from the rest of the crowd and were quietly sneaking there way into an old dormitory that tall and eerie on campus grounds. They could no longer hear the sounds of happy cheers and waves of laughter, or shouts of children playing around from the walkways miles from them. All they could hear was the faint howling of the wind like ghosts swarming the school on Halloween. It only fueled the groups' adrenaline as they approached the old abandoned, dilapidated dorm, in desperate need of a new paint job.

"Dude, this is going to be awesome..!" The leader said grinning from ear to ear.

"This is the creepiest-looking dorm I've ever seen. Did those guys expect us to believe that anyone could live in a place that's one nail off from collapsing?" His friend snickered.

"I wonder if there are more ghosts inside~?" One girl asked with an excited giggle.

"I...I don't know. Should we go inside? It looks a little too scary." Another girl asked. She looked at the house and caught chills running down her spine. She could smell the old musty smell of the house as she looked up at one of the windows of the dorm. Her friend stepped beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Uh, duh! That's the point! It's Halloween and that's why we're going into this place?" She said.

"Yeah. Besides, this has to be part of the attraction if they had all that stuff out front. Why else would they keep telling us to stay out?" Their leader mockingly asked as he and his friend approached one of the windows. He placed his hands on it and shook it. After a few vigorous shakes, the lock gave way and he was able to lift the window. Gaining entryway into the Ramshackle Dorm. "Alright, go, go, go!" He said in a loud whisper as he chucked himself inside. His friends looked around quickly before they rushed in to follow him. When they step on the front steps of the house, they hear a creak from underneath the floorboards and they fished out their phones and turned on the flashlight. With every step, it seems like the creaking gets louder. The inside looks like what you'd expect. Cobwebs linger in every which way, and antique furniture layered with dust sits either perfectly arranged or thrown around in the lounge area. They took note of the dumb-looking ghost hanging above near the fireplace and the jack-o-lanterns around. The moon and bat wall decor was nice, but it wasn't at all impressive.

Cautiously, they walk farther into the house to explore. Each goes a separate way. With every heavy step and pressure on the floor boards, it feels as if the house will collapse on top of them. One looked around the lounge, while the other two went upstairs. One girl made her way into the kitchen. An old wooden table sits in the corner, along with matching chairs. Water drips out of the faucet in the corner. She opened a cabinet, but there were only more cobwebs. The two friends walked up the stairs and went to the second floor, they cringed at each creak on the old stairs, but it didn't sway their determination to make it to one of the bedrooms. Halfway up, a shadow flickered at the corner of the leader's vision. "Wh-whoa!" He screamed.

"Aah! What is it?!" The girl shouted at him. She had gotten scared by his screaming.

"I thought I saw something!" He shouted. By this time, the other two had climbed up the stairs to join them.

"Oh, was it on the Ghosts on Magicam? Where?" The girl asked, excitedly looking around.

"A ghost was here? Oh, I got to get this!" The other boy said as he turned on his camera, ready to take a picture of the ghosts. The other girl was about to do the same when she froze, and as she stood there, caught a sweet, slightly musky odour lingering in the air. "G-...guys...? D-do you smell that?" She asked, becoming terrified the longer she remained in the Dorm. Her friends turned to her, looking a bit confused before they realised the smell. "What is that?" The leader asked.
