Characters
I have been mentioning this certain factor a lot of times. Why so? Because they make up the whole novel.
Creating characters is to live but creating a character who impacts the readers is to die for.A protagonist must have a goal.
I'll be dead ass whipping you the book if you made a character in a story without giving it a goal---just kidding.........unless?Anyway enough of that.
Character's goals can vary. In fiction, you can do whatever you can but limit it to a certain reality body.If you did a great job of giving the main character's a distinctive voice, their goals can be seen and/or be pointed out by the readers.
The antagonist is the one who makes the story exciting. They can throw the whole chapter upside down by how you intended them to be. This makes the blood of every reader boils but you must be happy for that because you know, you are making an impact.
Every character needs an enemy. It may be themselves, another person, time, nature and etc. An enemy that will block the path of your main character. That being said, will be the start of the exciting parts.
However, considering the status quo, character development is very important to the readers. You need to end the hatred of your characters and let them live an anger-driven life. Create such obstacles that will make your protagonist and antagonist accord with each other. Link them into stop hating each other.
No development is a misnomer.
