Creative words.

English books or novels from our favorite author really struck our interests because of the heavy words that they have used. A mere reading of their works can add a massive amount to our vocabulary.

What is stopping you from doing that too? Why don't you affect your readers not only in their hearts but also in their vocab?

In writing fancy narratives or lines, it doesn't need to change every word into a fancy one. Imagine the cringe if you did that.

Try changing a few words, just to broaden the thought. It doesn't have to be too fancy, you can search up synonyms that will be more appealing.

Don't be boring.

"The cat jumped"

try doing,

"The stillness of the night was broken when a furball ginger cat spring free from the ground"

It appears fancy right? But little did you know, I just widen the description of my first example.

Be descriptive. It costs nothing but time searching for synonyms (lol xD)

You can always learn for you are a lifelong learner. Try browsing up words in google that can help you to kill the boring words in your thoughts.

However, this doesn't mean that you have to make everything in your novel to be in a fancy form-THAT'S A BIG NO.

Just try to appear less but more (I hope this make sense but try to understand it)
