taeil ended up sleeping over at doyoung's place again, borderline cuddling under their blanket on the couch, taeil's hands latching onto whatever part of doyoung that they could reach, the other's hands doing the same.

taeil liked it, the liked feeling the warmth of doyoung against him, his head resting on his chest. he liked being able to hold the other close to him for the entire night. in the end, taeil wakes up that morning to find their hands intertwined again, hanging off the side of the couch.

doyoung was still asleep, basically nuzzling taeil's chest as he continued on peacefully. the other couldn't help but smile at him but then he paused — that feeling was back. he should've figured it would return after they just decided to cuddle each other to sleep without a second thought.

"doie," he said softly, rousing the other awake. "good morning."

"good morning illie," a smile spread across his face. he didn't have a surprised reaction to their current position — doyoung laying on top of taeil under the spare blanket — as if it was a normal thing for them. taeil could get used to that. "sleep well?"

"yeah," taeil muttered. "did you?"

"of course i did," doyoung chuckled. "what's for breakfast?"

"i dunno," taeil shrugged. "you think i know?"

"i guess you wouldn't," doyoung stated the obvious. "will eggs do? i have some."

"sure."

taeil had the job of cracking two eggs each for them and doyoung fried them. to add a little more to their meal, they made buttered toast then began to eat.

"you ended up staying over again," doyoung says after awhile as taeil bites into his perfect toasted piece of bread.

"two days in a row, i know," taeil retorted, grinning.

"not that i mind," doyoung said quickly. "i like having you over. since i don't have a dorm-mate, it's less lonely in here," he then went shy and his voice quieted. "i like sleeping with someone."

"me too," taeil admits. doyoung's pink cheeks go red at his response and he simpers, looking down at his doddle-covered table.

then, doyoung reaches the last bit of his toast, shrugging and holding it out towards taeil's mouth. the other looked surprised.

"for you," doyoung smiled. "here comes the airplane!"

"oh hahaha," taeil said sarcastically before opening his mouth and leaning in. he closed his lips around the piece of toast and sat back in his chair contently.

"...and we're done!" doyoung concluded cheerfully. "wait, what time is it — ?"

he checked his phone before taeil could, his eyes widening in surprise. "we're late for school. how long were we asleep for?"

"a long time," taeil yawned. "do you really feel like going?"

"skipping school again, huh?" doyoung said jokingly.

"i mean, you're free to go," taeil said. "i'm way too tired."

"nuh-uh," doyoung retorted. "if you're missing school, so am i. let's at least call in sick."

"works for me," taeil grinned. perhaps he shouldn't be lying again that he wasn't feeling well enough to go to school, but he would be around doyoung a lot more.

the first thing they did was watch the television for a bit, though they seemed more interested in talking to each other than actually watching what was going on currently on the tv. at some point, they ended in a mess of tangled limbs again, the both of threatening to fall asleep again on the couch.
