Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert are in love, but there is just one problem - she is sired to him. While trying to find the cure for vampirism so Elena can become human and break the sire bond, Damon helps train Jeremy to become a Vampire Hunter to complete his mark. The problem is, Jeremy is one of Five. Damon is in danger when a new Vampire Hunter comes to town.

This takes place after episode 4x09. If you haven't watched the show, you'll probably be confused but if you still want to read it, commetn and I'll add a plot chapter that explains some of the confusing spots.
