Should've just called this part angst angst angst

Garu followed the other ninja, his eyes squinting once the blazing sun hit his face. "Well I'll be!" Tobe laughed. Tall palm and exotic trees loomed over the entire place, it seemed to stretch out forever. They both heard the squawks of birds and the speech of animals. They felt a cool gentle breeze wash over them, and rocky sand crunched beneath their feet. "Woahh.." Garu admired the Beauty, and turned to see more. It seemed that they landed on a shore, behind them was a clear blue ocean with small crashing waves against rocks. "It's like a, how do you say, Paradise?"

Garu began to agree, but quickly realized that they were still abducted and sent here, this was no "paradise". "No, what am I saying. Garu, I-" Tobe began, but stopped when the other sat down on the sand and sighed. His pigtails drooped and he sulked. "Oh..oh no! Garu don't.." Tobe scurried over to him, tripping and falling face flat on the sand. Garu gasped, then began to giggle. "Hey! What are you!" Tobe demanded angrily. Garu began to full on laugh. "Oh well THAT seemed to cheer you up." Tobe muttered, but decided to laugh a little along with Garu. Garu wiped a tear from his face and got up, he found it extremely humorous to see his nemesis eat the ground, but he still held out a hand to help Tobe get up.

"You aren't going to ram me into a wall now, will you?" Tobe smirked at him. "Nuh-uh." Garu replied, helping the other up. "Let's make another truce." Tobe cleared his throat and began, "for the time being, let's try to uh, not die. Got a deal?" Tobe held out his hand to Garu. Garu thought for a moment, before grunting in approval and walking away, ignoring the hand. Tobe stood there frozen and extremely embarrassed. "Got it, right," he promptly followed Garu further inland.

Garu cautiously made his way into the wilderness, Tobe following behind him scared witless. He had been hearing the sounds of rustling and the ominous ambience of the wild. At first, Garu felt helpless being stranded, but then he realized that he had to be the bigger person now that Tobe was alongside him in the mess, also helpless and cowardly. It was the honorable thing to do. And it gave him the courage he needed to survive, that he wasn't alone. "Do you know where we are going?" Tobe whispered. Garu did not notice the other and instead focused on finding a good clearing for shelter. A better water source would be his next task. He stopped when he heard a the faint sounds of rushing water.

"Uh, hello? Garu I'm speaking to you!" Garu shushed him and held out his ear to get a better listen. "Uh!" Tobe let out in disbelief. He growled in fury. No. We made a truce. Tobe was too used to fighting Garu whenever he pleased, right now was not the time. No we didn't. Tobe recalled Garu NEVER shaking his hand, was the truce ever even made? What difference does it make? He agreed to the truce! It's best to not fight! No..

Tobes anger was getting the best of him, fists clenching to the point of his fingernails digging into his palms. His thoughts stopped when Garu grabbed both of his hands. Garu looked up worriedly at Tobe, seeing how He was shaking in anger. "Garu! I'm sorry I," Tobe relaxed his hands into the others'. "I know it's different now. I cant just fight you anymore. Oh, how I miss that." Tobe smiled at the other. "Miss throwing punches at ya. And you'd dodge em." Garu have him a Are you crazy? Look, but chuckled. "I know! It's silly, I got beat up good didn't I?"

Garu suddenly felt sorry for the ninja. They did fight a lot. "Oh! But don't feel so bad, I practically asked for it, haha! If it makes things any better, erm, you gave me a cool scar from our last battle a month ago. Looks like cat ears, doesn't it?" Tobe lifted the sleeve on his left arm up to his elbow. On his lower forearm, a light scabbing had formed in a "/\___/\" shape. Garu stared at it in disbelief.

He recalled sword fighting Tobe, and when Both of their weapons were being pushed against each other, Tobe took out a ninja star. Garu instinctively used his sword to knock it out of his hand. He saw how the blade along with the star ripped Tobe's sleeve, but he didn't see the scratch it made. The "ears" must've been the stars doing and the line connecting them was his sword. Garu never dared to think of the damage he and his sword did to Tobes human body, it was best not to. But seeing the scratch reminded him that it wasn't the worse he'd done. "Garu? It's ok I'm sure i did a number on you as well." Garu held Tobe's forearm and kissed it in an attempt to apologize. He shouldn't have been this rough with Tobe, he wasn't just a nemesis. He was just as human as he. The thought made him choke up.

"Garu! You were only protecting your village! I was..evil and did some pretty awesome-I mean, petty evil things. Yknow, for my own benefit and wanting to be better than you, and my vengeance.." Garu understood this but, Suddenly he hated the thought of doing any harm to Tobe. He wanted to protect him. "Garu...i too feel horrible but we must get back on track! The best thing we can do is keep true to our truce." Garu was still gripping on Tobe's arm, begging for some sort of forgiveness. Tobe sighed and reached for the others' arm. Removing the red glove, he saw a few scratch marks on his palm. Tobe gulped and repeated the kiss that Garu gave his own scratch. To this, Garu burst out laughing, tears still in his eyes.

"W-what???? You did it first!" Tobe blushed profusely. Garu was in hysterics, laughing at poor Tobe. Tobe flung Garu's hand away from him and questioned what he had done wrong. Garu pointed at Tobe's scar then at his, it suddenly clicked. Those scratches belonged to Mio! Tobe stood still as Garu was still loosing it. "I hate you."
