TW: Near death, sickness/injury
It was one day in 1980 that Sirius Black showed up looking frantic on the Potter's doorstep. All he had to say for James to come running was "Regulus! I found Regulus!"
The two young men ended up in a cave where they saw at first appeared to be a corpse floating in the water. But the corpse was moving just slightly as if in a deep sleep.
Sirius dived in to save his brother while James fought back inferi.
They took him home and looked after him.
