Au where, instead of just getting a tiny scar, Harry receives far more damage from surviving a curse that should've killed him. Lightning-like scars cover his body not just his forehead and he suffers chronic medical issues.
(Because honestly is it really realistic that a powerful curse made to kill would cause no damage other than a single small scar like cmon-)
