I wake up an hour and a half later, but I don't see Uncle Peter any where.
"Uncle Peter!" I yell, sluggishly.
"Yea, Dani? Ya need som'um?" He asks, running up the stairs to the loft.
"Can I borrow your Jeep? I need to go get Belly's birthday present!" I say, getting off the couch and stretching.
"I don't know. Should I trust you with my Jeep? How good can you drive? Oh god! Who would give you your license!?" He says, laughing.
"Com'mon Uncle Peter! I...well just look out the window!" I say, smiling, and pointing out the window to the driveway, where my huge truck is parked.
"Damn Dani! Is that yours?" Uncle Peter asks, looking at me, slightly smiling.
"Yea, Uncle Peter! I drove that big damn thing all the way here! I can drive a Jeep! Trust me!" I say, giggling, as I run down the stairs to change into a pretty dress, and redo my hair and make up.
When I'm half way down the stairs, j hear Uncle Peter say, 'Wow! No denying that girls her daddy's!'
I giggle, and yell, "Love you Uncle Peter!"
"Stop suckin' up!" He yells back.
I giggle as I grab the railing, swinging around it, skipping 2 stairs at a time.
When I got to the hallway where the bedrooms are I see Belly and Auntie Karen, still chattering.
"Hi guys! Getting along okay?" I ask, happily.
"Yep!" they both respond at the same time.
"Great! I'm going into town! Y'all need anything?" I ask them.
"Could you pick up a few pizza's for dinner? " Auntie Karen asks handing me a $100 bill.
"Yea! What kind?"
"2 pepperoni, 2 cheese, 1 sausage, and the special kind that Peter and I like," she says, when I turn around to walk away, she stops me, "Oh, and 2 bread sticks, 2 cheese sticks, and a spicy chicken wing, large size!"
"Damn! There's only 4 of us, Auntie Karen!" I say smiling.
"Well...we're having some friends over!" She says, "I think y'all will hit it off!"
"Okay! I gotta go! I'll be back!" I say, running into the bedroom, and pulling on my dress, and getting ready. I look in the mirror and take a deep breath, I grab my purse and start to walk out the door.
When I open the door Uncle Peter is standing there.
"Hey, where ya goin?" I ask, cause he has his keys in his hand.
"No where," he says, tossing them to me, " these are for you, what you goin' to town for?"
"Oh, thanks! I gotta get pizza, and I told you this already! Belly's birthday present!" I say smiling, proud of what I'm getting her.
"What ya gettin' her?" He asks.
"5th row seats for us to go see Brantley Gilbert and Justin Moore! I would get meet & greet tickets but I can't spend that much. I'm already spending $500." I say, sighing.
"Oh, how much are they?" He asks me.
"$300 each!" I say.
"Here." He says, handing me $1,000, "there's an extra $300 in there too. Buy you guys both one of the meet & greet tickets, then spend the extra at the concert. There's Belle's birthday gift from Karen and I." He says happily.
"Oh my god! Uncle Peter! I love you! You're the best!" I say, throwing my arms around him.
" I know! I know! No need to tell me! Now get goin' before their sold out!"
"Good idea! See ya!" I say, running down the stairs, and out the front door.
I jump into the Jeeo, starting it. After, I plug in my phone to the dock, and turn on I Heart Radio, and blare 94.3 WKKJ.
Before I know it I'm doin' 95, down the road, to the little town of Bethany, feeling young, wild, and free.
I get 'er up to 105 mph, and scream to the world not caring who hears me, "This is gonna be the best month ever!"
