"VIOLET!!!" My best friend runs to hug me and we both stumble down to the ground, erupting in laughter.

"You're crushing me!" I whine and she stands up, pulling me with her then hugging me again. "I MISS YOU SO MUCH HOLY SHIT!"

"Me too, you don't even know," I shook my head, embracing her. We stayed like this for a couple of minutes, earning weird glares from people as we just stood in front of the cafe.

"Let's go inside," I suggest and she nods in agreement. As I step inside my eyes hover over the place.

I frown.

"What happened to the place? It wasn't like this before,"

"Well yeah they did some construction and redecorating, it's been 6 years Vi," she chuckles, grabbing my hand and leading me to the counter.

So much has changed.

"Two Vanilla milkshakes please,"

My frown turns into a smile after hearing Venise order our signature drinks that we'd always get here.

"Oh and those brownies," she adds.

The boy behind the counter avoids eye contact whilst taking her order. "T-that'll be 7 dollars," he stutters.

Venise digs into her purse when I stop her and hand the boy a ten dollar bill. "I'm paying,"

"You bitc-" I cut her off by pulling her to the side.

"He seemed overly nervous when talking to you," I point out to the guy.

Venise sends his way a quick glare and looked back at me. "He's cute," she says with a cheekish grin and I chuckle.

"Get his number!"

"No way, I'm loyal to Harry Styles," she shakes her head and I roll my eyes at her obsession with Harry Styles. You'd think after 6 years the obsession would fade away but nope, still here claiming she's married to him.

With kids on the way.

"Besides he looks a little too young," she says.

I shrug and stare at Venise. She changed so much, her beautiful dark eyes which complement her black hair and that hourglass figure.

Wow, I have a really pretty best friend.

"Girl you're gonna make me blush," she fans herself, jokingly and I laugh. "I was just admiring my best friend."

"Well of course you are, I'm drop dead gorgeous,"

I also forgot she had an ego the size of an elephant.

Once our orders were ready, we sat down on the high stool and begin drinking our milkshakes.

"Ohmygod," I moan from all the pleasure this milkshake is giving my tastebuds right now.
