A/N: I only have ten parts written so far, we're six in (nine and five without the foreword). Let's hope motivation and inspiration come to visit me soon.
— V <3~*~
Since what both parties refer to as that night a few weeks went by. Heimdall noticed the change in his daughter's behaviour after a few days. Already touch starved from not spending the nights as usual Haizea became rather clingy; always being in some sort of contact with her father or her friends. Meanwhile the people around Loki don't seem to notice the shift inside of him. Though Frigga feels his snappy remarks occurred more often than usual.
Tonight the Queen of Asgard has seen enough and asked Heimdall to send his daughter over. Covering it up with a simple delivery request Frigga asks her son to meet her at the same point she forwarded to Heimdall.
The two lovers are taken off guard when they see each other in the palace's halls almost in front of Loki's bedroom. How convenient for them, isn't it? Frigga does plan ahead. Unsure what to do or to say they both stare at each other barely breathing. The silence of the nighttime lays thick between them. Whilst Haizea had no one to still her desire Loki is a prince after all yet he didn't take advantage of it.
Nothing compares to Haizea which normally would've made him shy away but no, he wants her even more. Knowing how she feels, the electricity between them when their bodies brush against each other, her pure natural beauty. How his name sounds coming from her lips when he told her to stay quiet, the first time he heard it he would've sworn he never heard something sound so sweet yet so forbidden.
For her it's barely different. 'Til Loki she had several problems with her body not having the most thin body type. Also her wavy hair makes a lot of people question if she truly is Heimdall's daughter. But in spite of everything when he was worshipping her, no, the way he simply looks at her changed her mind. Within a few shared nights she grew more confident and around the Trickster she felt desired, wanted.
"Father asked me...," she starts with a low voice but trails off.
"Of course," he replies unusually quiet.
Carefully Haizea walks past him to place what she bought with her where she was told to. Minutes go by, the brunette standing at the small shelf, hands on the wrapped object. Blue eyes secretly taking in every inch of the female's body and for once the Prince doesn't know what to say.
Does he want her to know that he misses her tugging on his hair? Should she know that he caught himself imagining her in his arms? Does he want to tell her that he thought of visiting her? That her staying away implied to him that she doesn't want him anymore? How it hurt him to not have his arms around her?
Instead of telling her any of it he blurts out, "I'm a frost giant."
Confusion takes over her features and Haizea finally turns to him, "What?"
"It's a long story," Loki tries his best not to stutter. "Shortly, by blood I'm Laufey's son, not Odin's. Which-"
"-explains why he favoured Thor," her expression softens. "So we will trust each other with our deepest secrets now?" Hands intertwined im front of him Loki bites his bottom lip and nods. "Can you show me?" It's more of a test if he's truly in for the being faithful thing.
"If I do," he swallows, "will we return to our nightly meetings?" This time it's Haizea's turn to nod and Loki holds out his hand for her to take.
As soon as their skin touches goosebumps build on hers. Ignoring the intense shock-like feeling Loki takes a tight grasp of her hand janking her with him towards the treasure room. Thousand questions speed through her head while Haizea does her best to keep up with him. Once in said chamber the prince approaches the big blue artifact and positions himself behind what he calls 'The Casket of Ancient Winters'. Skin coming in contact with the sides of it Haizea watches Loki's skin turn blue and his eyes go red.
Actually expecting her to now see him as a monster the God is surprised when her eyes don't widen but actually narrow in a soft way. Stepping closer Haizea places her hand on his forearm the cold of his blue skin reaching her hand through the fabric but she doesn't bat an eyelash.
"Thank you," it's barely a whisper but makes him relax nevertheless. "Now that I can believe you are truly up to this," his skin returns to its natural paler tone and Haizea doesn't hesitate to cup one side of his face. "Father did not want me to tell anyone but I too am a God, Loki. None of it matters when I'm with you but I do happen to have a few abilities. Though I haven't been in my... Different appearance since I was a child so I find myself struggling with it."
