Jongho left after another glass of water. He replied to Wooyoung's pries and even recited the entire poem to him, but he had no more important information that he could vouch for. After draining him of his wisdom, the couple accompanied him to the door and saw him off with kind regards. Jongho disappeared into the night of London to melt into the shadows in the alleyways.

The second the door had shut behind him, Wooyoung whipped around to San. All the delight and excitement of his day crashed down on him as he fell into the man's arms without resistance. With a deep chuckle, San caught him and cradled him close.

"Did you hear him? San, this might be it, finally! I believe I can piece the puzzle together now and discover your past. We can be together, after all. Now we need not worry anymore about anything concerning my studies. We can just be us. I will figure out the rest in due time."

Enchanted, San stared at the way Wooyoung beamed at him so brightly. His breathless smile made Wooyoung grin even harder. The happy dance of his heart in his chest wanted to be joined by San.

"Is that so? I find it hard to believe, but I will trust your word. So we've finally come to the end of the long season that divided our lives from each other." The awe in San's voice was just as disbelieving as Wooyoung's glee. Neither of them could catch up with the fact that their work was done. After so much time, so many days of getting to know San and watching him become more and more attractive, Wooyoung could finally invite the man to the institute that would soon exist as a building. There was no enormous gap between them anymore. No fear that San would turn out a villain. San wanted to be there when Wooyoung finished his long study season, and he wanted to see Wooyoung succeed.

San's hands came up to cradle Wooyoung's face. For a moment, he marvelled at Wooyoung's features as if he were the prettiest artwork. Wooyoung clutched at his wrists to smile even brighter.

"We did. I also can't believe it yet. But from now on, all of my time is dedicated to you. And once we meet at my workplace, I can help you out in matters concerning your past and condition, even if you want to leave everything as it is."

San nodded, the shine in his eyes still catching up with this recent development. They barely had talked about Jongho's ideas yet and figured out what role San played in them, but they still had time for that later. They had all the time now, all of Wooyoung's lifetime. He didn't doubt anymore that San would stay at his side, no matter what.

"I can't wait. I want to know everything. Want to get to know you as the one you really are without the mask of time overshadowing your features," San whispered. He moved in to lean their foreheads together gently.

Wooyoung giggled against the other man's lips.

"You will. I am probably far more boring than you might expect, but I will be my boring self specifically for you."

San's thumbs lovingly brushed Wooyoung's cheeks.

"I would love to meet boring Wooyoung. I'm sure he shines like a star."

Wooyoung's endeared snicker was swallowed by San's lips. The sweet remnants of their drinks' taste still clung to their lips as they kissed in the corridor. Wooyoung's hands found San's waist loosely as he fell into the feeling of the other man's adoration that lasted through the centuries.

In the silence of San's home, they could have heard a pin drop; it was that quiet. The only disrupting sounds were Wooyoung's dreamy sighs against San's lips and the rustling of their clothes as they pressed against each other so tight that Wooyoung believed them to become a single entity.

The shuffling of feet joined the mix when San moved them towards the bedroom without parting his lips from Wooyoung's. Wooyoung trusted him not to run them into any wall as they passed the table they had sat at with Jongho earlier. A candle and their glasses still stood there and created a romantic mood.
