After arriving at my apartment me and Jadyn hung out until it was time for her to help me get ready. It felt like Jadyn went through every single piece of clothing I owned. While she was going through my things she would ask me questions. Like is it casual or fancy? Or if it was an appropriate place to wear heels or not? Telling her multiple times I didn't know where I was going. I insisted on wearing jeans but she shot me down without hesitation. After what felt like hours Jadyn was set on a black dress. I quickly changed and Jadyn fussed about what she was going to do with my hair. Jadyn finally decided that she was going to just straighten it. As she straightened my brown hair I was left to do my own makeup. I was trying to find an eyeshadow color that would complement my blue eyes as well as my black dress. Then deciding on just doing eyeliner for tonight.

After finishing, Jadyn left to go meet up with Niall at the movies. And I was waiting for my date to pick me up. No more than 30 minutes later I received a text from Oliver saying he was outside. I quickly grabbed my purse and left making sure to lock my door when leaving. Making my way down the stairs of my apartment building I could see Oliver standing outside his car from the window. Opening the door to the outside and walking over to Oliver's car. I watched as his eyes grazed every part of my body. Feeling uncomfortable as he did so.

"You look- amazing" Oliver said in a shocked voice, still staring at me.

"Why thank you, you don't look so bad yourself"

Oliver smiled at me while he opened the passenger seat for me. As I got into his car I looked around to see if there were any things I should be worried about. As I was scanning his car Oliver got in. He watched as my eyes scanned the car.

"I don't know whether you are looking for a way to escape or your just noisy"

"I'm just making sure you don't have any loose body parts from your last victims here" I say jokingly.

"Sadly I just threw them out"

"Well darn"

This is either going to end up being the most awkward night of my life, or the beginning story of how I met your father.

Oliver drove us to this restaurant very close, I mean very close almost in the city of New York. I loved being outside of New York. I mean that's where I live. Though I would kill to live in the actual city it would be amazing to walk everywhere. But I would miss being able to walk to Jadyn's though and it would probably be too loud for me. For the time being I'll just enjoy the bright street lights.

Arriving at the restaurant Oliver makes his way out of the car walking over the passenger side to open the door for me. Getting out of the car me and Oliver walked inside the restaurant. In the restaurant it was packed. It looked beautiful inside with the giant chandeliers and the big open windows with tables filled with guests. I was in complete awe as we walked to the greeter. Oliver and the lady in front of me talked about our reservation and where we're going to be seated. After Oliver was done checking us in, the lady told us to follow her to our seats. She brought us to a smaller table in the middle of the floor. Done showing us our seats, she placed two menus on the table. I sat down as did Oliver in front of me. The lady soon asked us what drinks we would like to start with. I went to tell her what I wanted but was soon cut off by Oliver replying with water. Not thinking too much about it I decided to just annoy it.

The server then walked off and me and Oliver were now alone at the table. Picking up my menu I scanned through it reading the type of food they offered. I soon decided that nothing was really looking great to me.

I chose to stick with my usual. Chicken Tenders, the most appropriate food choice for a 20 year old woman.

"A lot of options to choose from, right?" Oliver placed his menu down on the table.

"Yeah, definitely" I said, after taking a drink of my water.

"Have you decided on what you would like?" Oliver asked.

"I have actually, have you?" I say smiling at him.

"Yes I have. I decided on the steak," He says.

"Sounds good, I'm gonna just get the chicken tenders" I say.

"Chicken tenders? You are seriously going to order chicken tenders" He asked, raising his eyebrows in disbelief.

"Yeah, do you have a problem with that?" I joked.

"No, I'm just saying that such a female thing" He said sternly, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Me ordering chicken tenders is a female thing? So is ordering steak a "Manly" thing? I say.

I was hoping this was just a bad joke he was trying to use to impress me, and not an actual sexist thing he truly believed.

"I mean yeah, men order real meat and women eat dainty foods" He said in complete seriousness.

"That makes no sense. If i wanted a steak I would order one"

"But you don't instead you choose to eat like a child"

What the hell? Was I really arguing with him over what I was choosing to eat?

"I'm choosing to eat something I want. Would you rather I order something more "Lady-like" such as a salad" I say now completely irritated. Slouching back in my chair I crossed my arms as I waited for his response.

We sat in silence as Oliver didn't say anything else. The quiet soon was too much for me so I decided to start a conversation.

"Anyways, why did your past relationship end?" I asked. Knowing that this would tell me everything I needed to know. Even though the beginning of the date had major red flags.

Oliver looked up at me and cleared his throat "I ended it because she didn't listen to my rules and I couldn't trust her."

"Your rules? What rules did she break?" I asked, leaning in.

"Well for starters she wasn't allowed to have any male friends. I soon found out from one of my friends that she was texting this dude" He paused and started shaking his head as if he was trying to calm himself down.

"So the rule was you guys weren't allowed to be friends with people of the opposite gender?" I asked, confused if this was real or not.

"No, she wasn't allowed to be friends with men. I was allowed to be friends with girls"

My eyes widened in shock as I listened to the words that came out of his mouth. Was he being serious or was this just a big joke? I stayed silent for a second then spoke again.

"What-... That's completely unfair" I say, shaking my head.

"No it is not because you females can be trusted" Oliver said, holding out the females.

"That's complete bullshit, Guys are quicker to fuck anything that can walk."

"Men have the right to be with any girl that we want," Oliver said, throwing his arm around.

"But if girls do, we are sluts right?' I ask.

"Yes, it is in men's nature, I wouldn't ever be with a girl that has had multiple partners" Oliver said.

I was blown away by the conversation I was having. What the fuck was he saying and why the hell was I still sitting here listening. This date was a complete disaster and I was ready to make a run for it.

"Will you excuse me? I have to use the restroom" I say getting up from the table after receiving a nod from Oliver.

Taking my bag and walking to the restroom I turned around to make sure he wasn't looking as I made a quick turn walking out the front doors. Taking a deep breath when I made it outside. I was now alone on the sidewalk with no one around me and I never felt more relieved to be alone. Grabbing my bag and pulling out my phone I dialed Jadyn's number and called it. The phone rang and rang, no answer. I texted her and called her again. Having the same result I called Niall. To my surprise the call went straight to voicemail. I was out of options on who to call. Since my ride home ended up being a dick I was stranded in the city. Standing there and going through my phone I knew I was going to have to call Him
