There was a time when I was very low

A couple of years passed
Five maybe
I was overwhelmed by now

Left me with only memories to sieve
I was happy here
I had enough
But without you it wasn't complete
The land now offered softer marshmallows
Brighter days
But something inside remained hollow
I have now accepted that you are gone
That you might not return
That I can cope with it
But along with everyone you too know
That you mended me
