I saw the sky once
It was blue.
The brightest I had seen
The bluest I had known. The clouds stood out
Like white cotton candy
But blended in
In the blue of the swirlsI watched them move
Saw them dance
Saw them mock
The darling sunSometimes you could see hints
Flecks of gold, yellow, red and orange
It was the sun
The bright sunThe air was cool but warm
The weather positive but gloomy
The mood decisive but reluctant
And me? I was lost in aweIt reminded me of those eyes
The cold yet soft eyes
The playful yet serious eyes
The loving yet rude eyesIt brought back all those feelings
That I felt when those eyes were on me
Now they aren't.
Now all I have for reminder
Are these occasional heartaches.A/N: sorry this was short but oh well! Like and comment if you liked it! It means a lot!
