They were friends
In the beginning
She loved him
But did he love her?
No, the sad truth
His heart was with someone else
Someone less worthy of it
Someone who thought him worthless
She loved him through his struggle
He never recognised her
She was hurt,
Couldn't express it
He gave her hints
But in the end went back to the other
Slowly, she couldn't take it anymore
She had to move on
It cracked her piece by piece
Watching him with her
The worst part?
The other didn't deserve someone like him
Someone so nice, someone so sweet
He did everything for the other but she didn't return it
Finally though, he opened his eyes
Saw beyond what he thought was the end
Now he loves her like I have ever seen anyone do
It is the most heartwarming feeling
She is happy now
I am happy for her, we all are
They deserve each other
The best people I have ever met.
