*Violet's POV*

Something's wrong with dad. He's acting all...strange. He needs a lot of time alone, he usually acts old. And...his emotions are mixed up in some sort of way.

While me and Starlight were preparing the plates, I asked her,

"Star? You were talking to dad a while ago, right? While I was still fixing the place?"

She nodded, "Yeah...why?"

"I need some observations about dad's actions? Like...what're your opinions on how he was acting?"

"Hey..Hey.." She raised her hooves in a surrender-like manner, "I'm just a 17 year old living in the forest. I'm not famous."

I hissed disappointingly, "Don't be stupid, Star. Just tell me how he was acting back there?"

She groaned annoyingly, "Fine. Well...he's been really forgetful. Even forgot about mom's birth anniversary. He was also acting kinda stupid. That's all."

I sighed, making annoying cliche tsk sounds,

"His kind's constantly still thinking about mom. He's too careless and mindless. A few years ago, he was too concentrative on his search for evidence during the battle between mom and Rosy Gunpoint."

She raised her eye, "Speak English, Vi. You know I don't understand science and the power of logic."

I facepalmed, "You still have that Pinkie side in you, huh?"

She sneered playfully, "Oh like that's ever gonna come out."

I facepalmed to her stupid, childish reply. "Fine. Dad loves Mom, right?"

"Of course he does. Probably more than us."

"Well. He can't stop thinking about her. His mind's still thinking about her. He can't get her off his mind."

"What makes you think that?" Starlight asked, concerned.

"Well. He didn't come with us on any of our quests. he spent five straight years just looking for evidence that mom's still alive. He couldn't accept her death. It was too horrible for him."

She looked down sadly, "Oh...that was deep..." Suddenly her eyes began to widen. "Wait...Mom's dead. Isn't she the element of magic?"

"Yeah...what about that?"

"If she's dead, then how are we still unicorns? I mean, how do you still have a horn?"

"Rosy's spell's protecting me. Unfortunately, I'm the only unicorn existing. I think Sweetie Belle's now an earth pony."

"Or a moon pony..." Starlight chuckled.

I groaned, "Look, Star. Magic hasn't gone yet. But this is the last magic that's left. I need this to be protected. I need another unicorn."

Starlight smirked, "Sunset Shimmer..."

I widened my eyes, "Are you kidding? Sunset Shimmer's in the human world. It's impossible to get her here."

"We can! Don't you have Rosy's dark magic?"

"Yeah..."

"And isn't it the most powerful substance existing?"

"Yeah..."

"So you can make a portal into getting in the human world. And you can bring sunset shimmer back here!"

My eyes widened at her brilliant plan. I grabbed her shoulders and began shaking her with joy,

"Thank you so much!"

She giggled, "You're welcome. So...what's our plan?"

"First, we have to celebrate the anniversary. Then, we make the plan and inform the others. Okay?"

"Got it."
