Chapter 18- destruction

A/N: mini chapter because I got lazy -.-

*Violet's POV* (it will remain like this for the last time xD)

I took the two siblings star gazing for some family reunion time. Then Neon decided to get a drink somewhere. Some pony agreed and the other disagreed. The answer would be stated if I said I went home early

I had 0 regrets at this plan. I did nothing but lie down, telling myself I can do this. After all, there was nothing to stop me from this.

Or at least, again I didn't get what I expected. I heard an evil spirit lurking through my bedroom. My eyes fluttered open as I peeked, and there he stood. King Sombra.

"At last we meet, Violet Stormskies..."

"H-How do you know my real name...?" I couldn't help but stutter in speechlessness.

"I know a lot of things, Violet. And I'm telling you that counter spell you're about to do will not be the best choice you'll make. Everyone seems more peaceful here, the population will remain many, and you will still keep your powers..."

"Your temptations aren't deceiving, you know. I have no doubts and am completely sure I can do this." I stated.

"I doubt you would know that, you don't even know your family's perfect life after you left them for years." He formed a smirk as he spoke.

I was barely able to reply to that, "that's not true...how should I believe you? You're the King of Darkness, taunted by the spirits of the war."

"Maybe it's best you should see for yourself then..." He muttered under his breath, taking me to my family's house.

They had a fixed, proper, and simple house. I didn't even bother laughing, at his shame, "Is this really the best you got? A normal house instead of tents?"

"I would be foolish to just show you that." His eyes turned black, he blasted a spell on me. I couldn't see or feel anything for a matter of seconds.

So after that time, my eyes went wide open. I was inside some sort of memory void. My eyes remained shrunk, unimpressed to Sombra's plan,

"Sombra, there isn't a difference of you show me the inside of a memory void or the outside of a house, right?"

I heard the voice of Sombra echoing by the air.

"You're hilarious, StormSkies. I will explain. You're a spectator, meaning this is from yesterday and you're forced to watch every single moment of your family without you. And you will realize what I mean."

Then after I heard his voice slowly fading away. I sighed, I couldn't do anything else. This was dark crystal magic. I could do nothing but watch.

The memories flashed up, they seemed to be enjoying their lives. They looked so...happy...family games, lots of family times...they never enjoyed when I existed in their lives.

I realized then...if I do this counter spell, their happy times would be washed off. The moments of happiness will return to suffering and hard work.

I didn't want this, I'm doing the counter spell for my family, but if I don't, it'll be better for everyone else. Am I even doing this for my family? Or is it just...for the sake of being remembered?

"Did I make myself clear this time, Storm?" His voice has once again echoed through the room.

"Yes you have, Sombra...I think I've made a really big mistake. My family's happy, AppleJack and Sunset Shimmer seem really famous and respected. Everyone's happier, and it should stay this way... forever..."

"It's good you lost faith in what you believe, because this happiness would not seem to last any longer..." Once again his eyes glowed, but this time in black color, he blasted the zmagic on my chest.

I fell unconscious for a while,my eyes once again opened wide. And this time I was in a dark cell. And so Sombra's voice has again echoed through the room.

"I've been planning this for years. I just couldn't find you. I expected you to hide in dark caves, secret hideouts or even on another planet. But I was wrong, you lived in a simple house with a simple life. And now I talk about what I'm about to do.

You are the only pony alive who is able to stop this plan, so I planned to construct this cell using a metal called the yellow diamond (RANDOM5EVER HUEHUEHUE its stupid but why should I care?). Magic Proof and Spell-proof. Not even immortals like you can escape.

I'm going to take over Equestria, destroy it like Gunpoint has or even stronger. And to have the Princess of the night to rule alongside me."

"She would never do that. She's already dead, and not even Serendipity's spell was able to reincarnate her..." I hissed as the wind blew my bangs to cover my face.

"If that's so then do you think the sun and the moon were still active after all these years? And has gone missing to everyone else ever since the apocalypse?

I hesitated, I never thought of that before. My mom told me that Luna had the power to raise sun and moon without Celestia. And she was younger, which means she had stronger urge to do so.

But why would she join Kong Sombra? I thought she gave up being evil and full of darkness. I thought she was the good Luna. Even if...I never have met her in person.

The voice began to fade slowly. I closed my eyes and began to contact Sunset Shimmer. She immediately replied,

"VIOLET!? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?"

"SUNSET YOU NEED TO FIND ME NOW!! SOMBRA HAS TRAPPED ME SOMEWHERE AND YOU NEED TO SET ME FREE-"

I felt a shot on my neck, my vision went blurry, I felt numb. I collapsed on the floor as my vision went worse, until I finally fell unconscious.
