Chapter 14-rivalry

*Violet's POV*

I just left Rainbow Dash's apartment a few minutes ago. But the problem was I had no clue on where to stay overnight. I couldn't stay at Sunset's because she doesn't have a guest room, and I seemed too shy around Fluttershy.

My thoughts stopped when I bumped a stallion, but it wasn't just any stallion. It was the stallion, it was Cloudstorm. I ran into him a while ago, I'm guessing.

"Oh hello again, Cloudstorm!" I greeted.

"You're Violet, Am I correct?" He asked.

All I did was nod. He smiled and asked another question, "You have any place to stay? You seem new and I'm guessing you just moved today."

"Well...no, not yet." I shook my head.

"Well you can stay at my house for a change, I have a guest room and no one lives with me so...no one can embarrass you or anything." He smiled.

"Wow...uhh...thank you!" I stuttered in deep embarrassment, "I completely appreciate it!"

We stayed silent as we walked to the house. After a few minutes, we managed to arrive at the house. He told me to make myself comfortable while he went to his room to play video games.

I dumped my body at the bed of my new room and sighed. I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep without any interruptions or hesitations.

The next morning, my eyes fluttered open as the morning of dawn came. I walked out of my bedroom to for once get some peaceful breakfast. But the peace ended when I heard a voice,

"Hey why are you up so early?"

I turned my head to see CloudStorm, with black eye-bags and a sleepy expression. "Oh I'm used to the early timing, I'm sorry if I woke you."

"Oh it's okay!" He nodded. "I was going to get up early anyways..."

He went downstairs and sat on the seat of the table across mine. It was completely silent at first, but then I got hungry, "I'm starving, ill just get anything from the frid-"

"Oh no I'll get it for you." He suggested as he walked over to the fridge.

"Oh umm...thank you." I smiled.

He returned from the fridge with two glasses, a pitcher of orange juice, and two pancakes. He poured the syrup and placed a square of butter on top.

"Thank you so much, my guardians never done such kindness to me before."

"No problem."

"Ill just get some jui-"

"Oh no I'll do it." He interrupted again, getting my glass and pouring it with orange juice.

"Thanks again."

We continued eating our breakfast. I finished and told him i needed to go out of the house for my job, well the truth is I had to go back to Sunset Shimmer's house.

I waved the stallion goodbye, and walked out of the house, I'm beginning to grow a liking for that stallion...

When I got out of the house, I teleported in front of her door as soon as possible. And just in time, Sunset Shimmer was right in front of me.

We went to the coffee table to talk about getting a counter spell to get the memories of the others back. But she informed that would have to cause the disappearance of the reincarnated citizens.

But there was one thing I asked that was a little too unexpected, "Hey what happened to Boom Boom and all those others?"

"Oh..." She muttered, "About that...since you never existed, Rosy never would've gave you your powers, and since that, Rosy died exterminating the three from existence, even when the counter spell comes to work."

"So here's the plan you told me." I repeated, "We have to gather everyone who got affected through the memory removal, except for my family, and get them all to hear the spell?"

"Yeah. I've already sent the invitations. Don't worry, they're all in good friendly relationships, with me at least..."

"Okay..."

*time skip*

After probably two hours or so, the guests arrived one by one. But of course, since nothing's changed with Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie, they arrived late. And AppleJack hasn't even arrived yet.

But there was something...unfit about this talk. Everyone was...not in good relationships with each other. Especially with Rarity.

"What is this...bratty son of a gun doing here?" Rainbow shrugged.

"Excuse me, but you're saying that to one of the wealthiest ponies in all of Equestria. So rich that I could get you all arrested for insult of ponies' personalities." Rarity laughed.

"That's just cruel! How on earth do you sleep at night!?" Pinkie angered.

"Sleeping on a bathtub of melted gold..." Rarity dreamed, twirling her hair in haziness.

"Wait, gold solidifies fast...so doesn't that mean you come out of the bathtub as a fat golden mess?" Fluttershy wondered out loud.

Pinkie and Rainbow burst in laughs, "Y-YOU JUST GOT BURNT, YOU TURD BLOSSOM!!" Pinkie cackled.

"Hey, y'all! What's going on he-" appleJack gasped when she arrived, and caught her eyes at Rainbow Dash. "Dash..." She scoffed.

"Heh...I haven't seen you in a few days... since that time I beat you in basketball..." Rainbow snickered.

AppleJack shook her head desperately, "Let us not forget last week when I beat you in an eating competition, sugar cube..."

"That was nothing like that swimming competition, but I can't believe you cheated and actually beat me..."

"What's going on...?" I whispered on Sunset Shimmer's ear.

"Oh did I forget to mention? If there's anything that remained the same here, it's their competitive rivalry..." She whispered back.

"And if they keep up this 'rivalry', the counter spell might fail. Harmony and equality is required to complete the spell." She added.

My hesitance came. If this doesn't work in time, I will never see my family again. I'll have to live the rest of my life alone. And I don't want that to happen.

I looked back at the five, they were mostly arguing. Pinkie fighting with Rarity, AppleJack competing with Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy struggling to stop them.

I sighed and told Sunset Shimmer to tell the others that this would be a few day stay program, just to get to know each other, they simply accepted and went to their rooms.

I crossed my hooves in desperation, I plead that this would work. I miss how it used to be, I miss my family, I miss everyone.
