*Flash's POV*
After seeing Pistol's backstory, we went separate ways to our tents so we could have a goodnight sleep. I had a much better feeling about this.
I recently just found out that my wife's alive, she's not hurt, but she's caged by those descendants of Rosy Gunpoint. I had a tiny smile on my face.
We will win this war. We will finally earn our freedom. I will see my wife again. We will be a full family again.
I was about to go to sleep, then all of a sudden, I felt somepony squeezing me, and they seemed to have teleported me to the place Violet was talking about, the cell.
Me, Soarin and Cheese hugged in relief, I just grinned at Fluttershy. I looked for Twilight, and I found her in a corner, trying to cast a spell.
I muttered hesitantly, "T-Twilight...?"
She turned around slowly, tears began flowing from her eyes, she plastered a smile, "Flash...you're here."
I squeezed her to a hug and began crying, "I thought I lost you. I searched on so many proof that you were alive, I couldn't believe you were dead. I'm so happy to see you again."
She returned the hug with tears of joy, "I'm so happy you're alive. I'm so happy we're reunited once more."
I slowly let go of her as she asked me,
"How are the children? Is everyone okay?"
I nodded, "Everyone's fine. Except Starlight and Meteor are already teenagers, and Violet's an adult."
She gasped, "Violet's back?"
I nodded proudly, "Yes. And she's been the best we ever had. She has magic inheritance from Rosy who actually cares about her, she became stronger, and she returned from the human world along with Sunset Shimmer, who appears to have returned as a telepath."
"Wow...you have been doing some great progress while I was gone. I never even realized how much years have passed."
I grinned, "You don't know how happy everyone was when they found out you were alive..."
She smiled again and began casting another spell. I held her hoof and formed a smile, "you don't need to cast any spells, Violet's coming for us."
She replied, "No we have to get out of here, we don't have much time."
"Violet can do it, she's very powerful she can do it" I persuaded.
She screamed as her eyes turned white, her horn lit up as she shot me in the leg. I fell on the floor and shouted in pain. Her eyes went back to normal and so did her horn. Tears fell from her eyes as she slowly muttered, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
I grasped her shoulders with a worried tone in my voice, "what...what was that?"
She sighed, "After I was taken, they ran experiments on me. They found out my powers were so big numbered that it's too stable, they made it unstable. My powers depend on my emotions. If we don't fix this in a few days, I am going to explode, and so is Equestria."
I was speechless. I blinked twice without any other reaction. Then I stuttered, "S-So... that's...that's why...Serendipity blocked Sunset's telepathic waved..."
She nodded slowly and began setting another spell while I dropped on the floor. If Violet doesn't do this in time, Twilight dies for real. Not only that but we all die.
*Violet's POV*
"Is he there?"
"No, I can't find him anywhere!"
"Just keep looking!"
Star and Meteor started an argument while looking for dad. Everyone was looking for him, he went missing since morning. We couldn't find him.
We met by the fireplace. Sunset shimmer suggested, "I can't find him, maybe I can use my telepathic brainwaves to track him down."
I agreed. Sunset Shimmer placed her hoof on her head and closed her eyes. The next time she opened it, she widened her eyes. My curiosity turned on. I grasped her shoulders, "What happened?"
She breathed heavily, almost stumbling from the log, "He's...he's with Twilight in the large indestructible cage..."
I widened my eyes, "Really? W-Wait, how can you...how are you doing that? Can't Serendipity block your thoughts?"
Her eyes shrunk, then widened as she blinked twice. "I...I don't know...probably because... they don't even know I exist. They can't sense me. Im not invisible to them in general but they don't know I exist ."
Star got all jumpy and asked in a shocked tone, "H-How is that even possible?"
"Well...maybe because the radiation of the time travel got more effective due to the explosion. Then when I traveled back here, I think the radiation mutated me into a telepath."
"How do you know that whole story?" Rainbow argued.
Sunset's eyes shrunk once more, "Telepath, Rainbow, Telepath..."
"Oh..." She nodded slowly, returning to her tent.
AppleJack suddenly arrived with a scream, "HEY Y'ALL RARITY'S MISSING!!"
"WHAT!? WE HAVE TO GO FIND HER!!" Pinkie shrieked while running off in search of Rarity. We all split up to look for another companion.
I sensed Rarity somewhere in the middle of the forest, I teleported to the location. I gasped in shock. I saw her head lying on the ground, blood spilling everywhere. There was a note pinned on her forehead, I took the note and began reading it. And here's what it said,
"Dearest Violet Stormskies,
I hear you have the best dark magic from Rosy Gunpoint. It is very valuable to me, but it would be more enjoying in better hooves.
I'm giving you a small wager, young lady. You have to summon the Pinkamena, and join us as we defeat other galaxies, then your family will be saved. Don't, and you'll all be crushed and I'll possess you two myself.
You don't want your world to end up like one of your hopeless friend right here, am I right? There's no stopping us, even if you fight your hardest.
I bet now you wish your leader wasn't so merciless on non-Equestrian beings, huh?
Yours truly, Pistol Blade."
I dropped the note. I began breathing quickly. I shattered the letter in tiny pieces and breathed heavier. Pinkie ran to me and asked if I was okay, she gasped when she saw Rarity's head,
"What happened to her?" She cried.
"Serendipity and her friends are after us. They're getting back at us for what Celestia's done to them."
"What did Princess Celestia's do?" Rainbow cockily asked me.
Sunset placed her hoof on her head once more, she explained after, "She...She's been in millions of wars outside Equestria. Her belief was other galaxies are conquerers, so she destroyed each and every one of them. They want revenge for what they've experienced."
"Did they do anything else, sugar-cube?" AppleJack asked.
I paused for a moment. Then I shook my head, "Other than Rarity's murder, that's all I saw."
She nodded and took Rarity's head for burial. The rest headed off. I sighed to myself, 'I know they're the closest people in my life, but I have to handle this problem myself..."
