*Dawn's POV*
It felt great being back to life. To be able to touch myself. But my emotions didn't feel so well. I couldn't believe Rosy would trust some...monsters.
I remembered when we first found her in high-school. She was a fresh starter. Ever since we were her best friends, we did everything together. She would always defend us. She was strong, but for her friends.
And then all of a sudden, she panicked. Her bright side faded and turned into pure darkness. She killed all of us without shedding even a single tear or emotion.
I have no idea what's going on with that girl lately. She's been being very...cold. I mean...she was, very cold. She's gone now. Probably lost in the spirit realm.
I miss the old Rosy. When she was strong for us, not just...strong. She probably just... wasn't able to control herself. Or she wasn't able to handle the pain of the past.
Neither of us couldn't believe what she's done to Equestria. And the worst mistake was to turn three regular ponies into universe-killing machines.
She was our best friend, and she killed everyone...maybe this was just her destiny. She is a dark alicorn after all. She couldn't stay just a normal pony forever.
I doubted Boom Boom even believed Rosy was a dark alicorn. She thought Rosy was just joking around because she wanted us all to be scared of her or something. she shed in tears when she found out that joke was real, to her death.
Eclipse, on the other hand, expected it. She just wouldn't mind telling anyone because she didn't want to spoil everyone's happy moments. Though she enjoys doing so, this was the first time she didn't want to.
Scribble and the rest didn't expect this from the best friend they've ever had. Scribble was the most heartbroken, her best friend in the entire world...killed...everyone in it.
What was my opinion, you might ask? Well... I doubted that was her. Not because I had a nervous breakdown or anything like that, it was because she would never hurt us. She pledged an oath herself. And she never broke an oath.
That must've been a clone who was out of control while she secretly ran to another planet to protect us. That was my theory. It just made no sense to me.
I was thinking these while sitting on a crushed mountain. I was alone while Boom Boom searched for food and Eclipse searched for more information about the crisis.
I was interrupted when Eclipse took an approach on me, "DAWN!! DINNER'S HERE! COME DOWN!!"
"Coming..." I murmured as I flew out of the mountain and right at the fireplace the two recently built.
I sat on one of the logs and ate the meat Boom Boom cooked. And speaking of Boom Boom, I've been noticing she hasn't been acting...herself, lately...
Her eyes were smaller, she slouched more often. She no longer plays with bombs, and I haven't seen a grin on her face ever since we left the everfree.
She was more...passive. More behave, more quiet. It's not that I'm not impressed of her improvement, but at the same time, I feel the exact opposite.
I spoke at my quiet friends, "It's getting a little too sad here. And not that I want to cheer you guys up, it's because I want to ask Boom Boom a question. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." She scoffed, "Just...depressed, and all."
"Depressed of what?" Eclipse questioned.
Instead of answering her older sister's question, she just let out a deep sigh, saying, "You don't need to know. I usually hate expressing my feelings to other people, no matter how close."
"We just want to know why you aren't so happy and cheerful like the old Boom Boom we used to know." I pleaded.
"Well she's gone." She snorted, "Probably still in the spirit realm. Why? Because the old me still had hope for that...merciless Killing machine."
"But..you were a merciless killing machine." Eclipse snickered.
"At least I wasn't a dark alicorn killing every pony in the world until she's the only one left and had nothing to do." Boom Boom gritted her teeth.
"So...you're really pissed at Rosy right now, aren't you?" I simply asked.
"Yeah." She answered, "What does it look like? I'm enjoying the end of Equestria?-"
We were interrupted by an explosion. The next second we opened our eyes, we saw Rosy's ghost. Eclipse crossed her hooves,
"Well...Well...Well...if it isn't Ms. Evil overlord."She scoffed sarcastically.
"Eclipse, please listen for once. This is very important." The spirit pleaded.
"How do you know you're not just pretending so you could get into our heads and kill us agai-"
"She's telling the truth, Eclipse." Boom Boom interrupted.
She looked at her young sister, shocked, "Wha- Boom Boo-"
"I'm not lying. And neither is she." She coldly spoke.
Rosy thanked the young brunette and explained to all of us,
"the descendants were never under my control. That was just your belief. They forced me to teach them how to use their power, so I taught them every single lesson they needed to know. I didn't know they were about to use it against Celestia, and Equestria. It looks like Serendipity possesses a power greater than mine.
She might've just turned her back at me because she wanted revenge for everything she's been through. For everything they've been through. And your friend, Violet, is the only one who can stop them. She has the power I inherited, because I knew she was as powerful as she could imagine to be.
You need to train her as much as possible. She is Equestria's only hope. She's your only chance for Equestria to regain their population."
"Wait what?" Boom Boom surprisingly asked.
Rosy sighed, "I forgot to mention. If Violet manages to kill all three descendants, Everyone will regain their lives."
All I could say was, "We have to return to the everfree."
