You sprawled all over the front deck, a grin on your face as many passed by.

The ocean was speaking, it's waves crashing together as the fish hurried past the boat, some being picked up by the fishing nets your old crew had dispersed for food, while some managed to escape the grasp of death as the net came to seal its fate.

You never thought much of it.

Staring into the sky, you began to drift off, eyes closing as a shadow casted over you.

Wait.

"No!..DON-!" You shrieked, and groaned when a boy jumped onto your stomach, laughing merrily and mischievously as you whined in pain.

Your arms sneakily wrapped around the child's waist, almost breaking the deck as you slammed his body into the wood.

"Don't fucking do that, you brat!" You yelled, a vein popping as you kicked him lightly.

The whole crew laughed at your misery, although it was very short lived.

"You all want a piece of me?!" You yelled, and cracked your knuckles.

Most of the men cowered away, laughing nervously.

"Anyway, [name unknown for now]- I SWEAR!" You yelled, and bodyslammed him to the floor once more.

"Can..I have a kiss Y/n?" Someone asked, coming up behind you.

"Kiss my ass." You deadpanned, and hugged the boy like your life depended on it.

The little boy was now regretting his decisions in life.

You smiled, "hey, thanks for taking me in."

The man looked at you, eyes wide. "You're thanking me?"

"Dont have the confidence to thank roger, so yeah." You murmured.

"Thank me for what?" A voice sounded from the captains quarter's entrance.

You looked over, "you shouldn't be up, the injuries are too severe, you know that!" You yelled, and began walking over, effectively pushing your captain back to his resting area.

"Come on Y/n! Let's party! Have fun with our friend! I mean, it's not like we party all the time!" He laughed.

"We party over literally everything, I don't want to hear it." You scolded, but eventually sulked in defeat.

The blackette walked past, grabbing your hand as he dragged you off the ship to share a drink with an old friend

A ginger male, who was currently young, watching you be dragged along by the idiot captain of yours.

"Only a few drinks, then we need to rest, okay?" You sighed.

"We?" He chuckled, and winked down at you.

"Ughhhh.." you covered your eyes, and let him drag you.

Being propped up next to your captains old friend, you murmured curses as your back hid the hard log.

"Watch where you leave me damnit!" You yelled, tears pricking the corner of your eyes as you stood.

Your captain laughed, and pulled you into his lap, "you smell." You gagged, but leaned back nonetheless.

Your captain smiled knowingly, and held a conversation with his rival, though the two were really just friends deep down.

You leaned your head back, looking up at the sky.

"Its such a beautiful day, isn't it?" You suddenly murmured, catching their attention.

"Im so grateful for everyone I've met in my life, rivals and all. I'm glad that i could take the time to know you.." you laughed, tearing up.

Your Captain's grip tightened, "its not time yet, you have a long road ahead of you Y/n.."

"Im 25, Captain, and I'm already this far...I came too early." You whispered.

The old friend shook his head, "i reckon you'll still be alive by the time I die, I promise."

"Someway, I know you'll make that happen." You sweatdropped.

Your captain bursted into laughter, hugging you tightly, "but Y/n. I have a promise for you, you need to accept this." He smiled.

"What Is it?"

"Promise me that you'll stay alive." He spoke, grinning at you.

"I..." You looked for anything but him, ANYTHING BUT HIM-

He cupped your chin, and made you stare into his eyes.

"I promise, Captain." You murmured, and pressed your forehead against his, smiling.

"Good."

"Y/nnnn...earth to Y/n.." Luffy waved in your face.

You looked at him, gasping, "sorry! Hello!" You laughed, and wrapped your arms around him tightly, nuzzling into the crook of his neck.

Luffy thought nothing of it as you sat down in the chairs, the whole crew smiling at your happiness.

Kidd on the other hand, was on the receiving end of your pokes. Your finger jabbed into his side, anything you could touch really, even near his...gasp...

Butt.

Kidd almost flew out of his seat when you poked his lower back, "Fuck lady, can you just leave me alone?"

"The hell? Why am I not pipsqueak? Am I not good enough for you anymore?"

Kidd laughed, and shook his head, "no, you're good enough, surprisingly." He snickered.

You rolled your eyes, and crossed your arms, looking away.

He patted your head.

The lights dimmed, and the auction had begun.

During that time, Robin had filled you in on what exactly was happening at the time, so you had a fairly good idea about what was to come.

You just hoped luffy wouldn't do anything stupid.
