[Were stopping the timeline a bit, and going on an adventure, I don't know if i want to do dressrosa or not.]
The waves crashed against the ship as everyone began to open their eyes, the smell of a wonderful breakfast in the air.
A soft tune made it to your ears as you sat up, rubbing your eyes.
You'd fallen asleep in the crows nest last night.
......
"Hey, zoro?" You asked, watching his muscles flex an impossible amount.
He looked over at you, "Hm? Yeah?"
You smiled, "so, why do you always train?"
He blinked, "well, to get stronger."
"Oh, but I mean even if you're injured." You hummed, standing up.
Zoro thought for a moment, setting down the weights.
"Well...I like to train so much, because I'm not strong enough for the crew, I don't think I'll ever be strong enough." He said, balling his hands into tight fists.
You frowned, "but you ARE strong enough, especially where we are now." You couldn't help but laugh, your arms wrapping around his shoulders.
Zoro's hands slowly rested on your waist, his usual stoic expression softening. It was almost... vulnerable.
"I just want to be able to protect my captain, and the crew." He said, "I've failed to do that so many times."
His head leaned down to rest on your chest, eyes closed as he tried his best not to get emotional.
You kissed his head, chuckling softly. "You seem to forget that your captain and crew can take care of themselves, even if you feel like something was your fault. It's not."
Zoro didn't say anything, he only layed his head on your chest, holding back tears.
You held him close as you crouched down to the floor, sitting with your legs spread enough for zoro to lay there.
His head hit your chest as he looked up at you.
"I am strong enough, you are strong enough. Together, we are stronger." Your hands began running through his hair, gently kneading.
He relaxed, his, usually tense, muscles relaxing.
"Zoro, i love you." You said, smiling at the male.
"I..I love you too, Y/n."
......
After that all happened, the two of you had fallen asleep, and lead to this very moment.
Zoro was sound asleep against your chest, snoring rather loudly as he slept.
You payed no mind, running fingers through his hair as he slept a deep sleep. He probabaly hasn't slept this good in years.
Sanji came up into the crows nest, smiling as he began to call out your name.
"Y/n-swan-!" He stopped short, and took in Zoro. He was laying on your chest. Laying. On. Your. Chest.
Sanji began to get angry, but saw how sound asleep he was, and how you sweetly kissed the top of his head, and whispered into his ear.
You looked up at Sanji, "well, hello to you too, goodmorning."
He nodded, "would you like it if I brought the food up here?" He asked.
"Sure, that'd be amazing, please bring some for zoro." You pleaded, giving sanji puppy eyes.
He gushed at how cute you looked before he nodded, "I'll be right back Y/n-swan!"
You sweatdropped, and sighed softly. Zoro began to stir.
His eyes slowly opened as you looked down at him.
He yawned.
You got a whiff of his morning breath, and wanted to end your life, but you'd bear with it for now.
You couldn't help but grin as he moved away, and stood, holding out a hand for you.
You grabbed it.
He pulled you up and into a hug, kissing the top of your head.
You laughed, and hugged him close.
The two of you held eachother close, whispering sweet words of encouragement to one another.
Sanji came up, and his heart cracked just a little more.
"Here's your food, Y/n-swan, and Baka Marimo. You're lucky Y/n-swan asked me to bring you some!" He growled.
You smiled, "thank you sanji, so much." You said, taking the food from the poor cook.
"How about we make cookies later?" You asked.
"Oh..anything for you!" He laughed, and left the crows nest, sliding down the ladder.
You looked at zoro, and giggled, pressed a kiss to his cheek as you handed him his plate of food.
He began to eat, sitting on the floor next to you.
"So...it's glad to finally have you back after so long. It's...really relaxing." He admitted, looking to the side.
"Oh really? I didn't think I could be relaxing, hehe!" You smiled, and dug into your food like a savage.
Zoro couldn't help but smile, shaking his head as you ate your food. He dug into his, the two of you in silent bliss.
It was casual, and it was amazing.
After the two of you ate, you both climbed down to the deck, where everyone settled down.
You stretched, cracking your neck as you watched zoro come down.
He wrapped his arms around your waist when he turned around, his face in your neck.
You giggled, and placed a hand on his cheek. "You're cute."
Zoro shook his head, and walked with you onto the grass. You flopped on your back, and looked at the sky, sighing.
"Yknow, everything is alright right now. It's quite alright."
