He looked over his shoulder to the eight year old daughter of his secretary "How's the crossword puzzle coming kid"Tony asked. "I'm stuck"Elle huffed and pushed her blonde hair back from her face "How many letters"Tony asked "Twelve"Ellie said "What's the clue"Tony asked.

"Increase in the severity of some-thing or the process of making a problem,bad situation or negative feeling worse"Ellie said "And it's twelve letters"Tony said. "Yeah"Elle said "Let's ask JARVIS"Tony said "Okay"Ellie said,she gave a small careless shrug. "JARVIS"Tony said "Exacerbation"Jarvis said "Spell it" Tony said "E-x-a-c-e-r-b-a-t-i-o-n" Ellie wrote it down as JARVIS spelled the word out. Tony's music silenced as Pepper came into the room "Please don't turn my music off" Tony said "You are supposed to be halfway around the world right now"Pepper said. 

"And you are supposed to be at school"She added towards Ellie "I'm sick"The eight year old girl gave a pitiful fake cough. "Uh huh,go get a shower and into uniform"Pepper said "But"Ellie began "No buts,go" Pepper said "So now I can't have an opinion or a butt"Ellie said. "Eleanora"Pepper said "Tony"Ellie said "Better go on kid"Tony said,Elle huffed but headed from his garage "You are a terrible influence on her" Pepper said.

"No I'm not"Tony rolled his eyes "Your flight was supposed to leave an hour and a half ago"Pepper said. "That's funny,I thought it would just wait for me to get there with it being my plane and all"Tony said "Tony I need to speak with you about a couple things before I get you out the door"Pepper said. 

"Thanks Happy"Ellie said after Tonny's assistant helped her onto the school bus. "Behave,yeah. Your mother has a full day scheduled so she won't be able to come get you later"Happy said "I know"Ellie said "You're to come straight back to Tony's from school"Happy said. "I know Happy"Ellie said,Tony and Pepper don't like her staying at Pepper's apartment alone so after school Ellie goes to Tony's house.

Most night she and Pepper end up staying at Tony's anyways either because her mother has had a long day of work. Or because Pepper leave it up to Ellie who'll chose staying at Tony's over going home to their apartment any day. "Hi Ellie" Peter Parker,Ellie's best-friend greeted as the small blonde sat beside him on the bus seat. "Hey Pete"Elle greeted in return "How's you knee feeling"Peter asked,Ellie had scraped her knee pretty bad during recess a couple days ago. 

"It's okay"Ellie said "Did Mr stark sign my picture"Peter asked "Oh yeah"Ellie said,she pulled it from her book-bag. "Here you go"She said "Thanks Nori! You're the best"Peter said,he hugged his best-female-friend tightly. "I know"Ellie said with a smile "It's so cool your mom works for him"Peter said "He's pretty nice" Ellie said "Everyone says he's rude" Peter said. "He's not. He's just really sarcastic"Ellie defended her mother's boss and the only father figure she's ever known.

"Hello"Ellie answered the call from her mother on her gizmopal locator cell watch. "Ellie baby,I need you to get your stuff together and head to the office. I'll be there in about five minutes to pick you up"Pepper said "What? Why? Is something wrong" Elle asked. "No,no I'm sure it's nothing but Rhodey wants me to get us back to Tony's"Pepper said "Okay I'll ask if I can go to the nurse" Ellie said "Okay,be there soon"The eight year old girl's mother said before ending the call.
