Because while yes Clint had retired from the Avengers Terry refused to stop after just merely beginning. Natasha's body covered both of theirs yet both sixteen year old girls still brought their arms up to protect each other from the blast of heat and shattered glass.

"You alright"Steve asked Natasha over the phone "Yeah uh I just got lucky I guess"Natasha said. "Are Terry and Elle alright"Steve asked "Yeah. Terry's a little shook up but Elle's fine"Natasha said. "Look I know how much Barnes means to you,really I do"Natasha said "Which is why I need you to stay home Steve. You'll only make it worse" Natasha said. "The dude with silver hair looked pretty protective of you"Peter said "New boyfriend"He asked.
