"Thanks," I said as I hold his hand. He offered his hand to guide me to walk down the stage. Kakatapos lang ng production namin.
"No problem!" he said, smiling. "May gagawin ka mamaya?"
"Uuwi?" sagot ko, hindi pa sigurado kaya tumawa siya. "Bakit?"
"Uhm, I just wanted to invite you for dinner?" wika nito, hindi rin sigurado. "I asked Tito and Tita regarding that at pumayag naman sila."
He's always like that. Bago niya ako ayain lumabas lagi muna siyang nagpapaalam sa magulang ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito niya ako tratuhin. Wala namang namamagitan sa amin. We're just a loveteam.
"I like you, Kisses," he confessed.
Buong gabi ako hindi nakatulog dahil sa confession niyang iyon! Marami ng umamin sa akin na gusto nila ako pero iba itong naramdaman ko noong si Donny na ang umamin. What's that mean?
The day after that we're so awkward. I don't know if people around us noticed that but we don't talk casually as in super awkward noon! It took two days when there's an awkwardness between us. We talked but only when needed like when we're shooting a scene. But what I admired about him is that he's such a gentleman. He speaks more through actions than words.
"Kisses," he called. We're in the middle of shooting. It's midnight.
"Hmm?" I looked at him, raising my brows, smiling.
"If you will allow me it would be an honor.." he paused. He was like being hesitant to continue his words.
"An honor to?" I asked. "Pabitin naman nito!" I joked.
"If you will allow me it would be an honor to court you," pagkumpleto niya sa sinabi niya kanina. My heart beats so fast. Kulang na lang lumabas siya sa dibdib ko!
It takes a long silence before he speaks again.
"No pressure, Kisses," he talks. "I just want to honestly say it to you. If it makes you uncomfortable, I'm sorry. Just forge--"
"Go!" What the hell?! What did I just say?! I'm cursing myself right now.
"What.. do you.. mean?" putol-putol niyang salita. He was shocked.
"Court me."
It took one year since I accepted him as my boyfriend. Marami rin ang problems and misunderstanding lalo na at we keep it private, away from the media. Hanggang sa binuwag na ang loveteam namin, ang DonKiss ng management. We separated ways in showbiz. They partnered Donny with another young lady, Angel. While I became a solo artist.
I'm stopped by reminiscing when Donny smiled. I stood up quickly to go inside my room but he already held my wrist.
"Just look at me," he said, still his eyes are closed.
"Instead of looking at another man."
