This is going to be a two parter about trouble, rules of a school, and other nonsense that is annoying.
Epilogue:
So I used to go to this school called Oak Crest elementary which was a 4-6 grade school, with that we had many children and many adults who were undeserving of their job I would say, anyways enough trash talking... This is about the way the school runs their rules and regulations especially in 5th grade for me. (This will take place in 5th grade so keep that in mind) first a little background or foundation, this school hasn't been the best for me not until after they read my proverbial resume that had nothing but trouble from kindergarten to then. The story:
It was 5th grade and we were starting out with rule and punishments, it was normal you know up until the Wednesday we had our annual talent show for the next years E.L.C. trip but instead of the usual lay low I brought bullet shells from the 21 gun salute, smart right? Nope, actually one of the adults who is supposed to be watching over us for recess looked at my hands and saw me showing the shells to other kids in my grade and some friends. Well I guess she must have just completely flipped or something because she walked directly towards me and said in a harsh strict tone, "give me those", my immediate reaction was asking her why and she just said, "just give me them", I asked again and she said, "give me them because I asked". Then I knew I was in trouble because she was being persistent after I asked her again I could tell that she was mad because she said, "give me them or I will give you detention!" At that point I was just like FFFIIIINNNNNEEEEE! And gave them to her, but little did I know that there was a moronic no-tolerance policy that they had and didn't tell any of the students (smarter than us right?) then the principal called my dad and our police officer that hangs out at school and teaches us about D.A.R.E. Which is about drug abuse how to resist and all that jazz, anyway they had talked about the policy and ended up suspending me for the day, and this is where things get good because she was just like I know your in the talent show and it's important and all so you can come back for it but you can't be here all day. My dad had taken me home and i got to watch "Battle: LOS ANGELES" with him and he wasn't mad the rest of the time about topics related to the dumb policy and that they only enforce it and not state it's in effect until someone gets in trouble, anyways the point of this story was only to say that if certain major rules are in effect they need to be stated at a meeting or gathering of students and teachers, right?
