Before I start yes this is a 3 parter first two parts talking up my district, and second talking down my district because what would this book be without a negative part right?
Ok so this is the longest field trip you will take in my school with your hole grade as a legit field trip (also the best in my opinion), every year we go on this trip to a place called Wolf Ridge E.LC. (Environmental Learning Center), E.L.C. Is one of those "special" trips where you leave from school early (6:30 or so) on Monday and don't come back until that very Friday, the two weeks before we go we choose what "classes" we want to do so we have all of our days planned and talk about safety and what we a typical day would be like, a day looks like wake up, eat breakfast, go to first 3-hour class, come back, eat lunch, go to second 3-hour class, come back, eat dinner, go to our last 3-hour class, journal about our day, then got to sleep, and repeat. The classes you chose for each day are simply put on a computer for a schedule of which we have for the week. The day we leave we wake up earlier than usual to eat get our items we packed drive to Oak Crest hang out with our 6th grade teachers in the commons area, when we got to the buses we immediately prepared for the 3 1/2 hour or so journey ahead, the busses were nice they were couch busses with nice cloth seats to cushion our booties and we would stop every once and a while at a rest stop or to eat our lunches we packed.
In the next section of this I will describe some of the classes we went on as well as dorm life over there.
