Student of the month is a thing that our school does to "commemorate" the "hard work" we do in school that goes exceptionally in the eyes of a teacher. When you are nominated for student of the month you get called down to the office to receive the award which is pretty lame seeings as it is only a certificate and you photo saying "look at me I'm exeptional" being used all over the school building on "TV's" set up around the school used for announcements. To me it's a complete negative if your a smart person trying to get by school without getting bullied, and the people who get it have gotten it a lot more than someone who really deserves it. The student of the month is just a cliché version of another thing back in my other two schools called "TERRIFIC TIGER AWARDS" where all you have to do is "good deeds" near a random teacher who likes you and BAM! Your a "TERRIFIC TIGER" I got at least 5 of these and my "friends" got either one or none.
