"Ow,that stings!"

You hissed in pain when the white neosporin was placed onto your cuts. You tried to wriggle away from your mother, but she just boredly pulled you back.

"Well you missed the bus to get bandaids" she yawned "and it was your choice to wake me up from my nap,you little rascal!" she attacked your stomach with tickles "Hahahha! Okay, okay I'm sorry! Just stop tickling me-hehahahhaha!"

Your playful fight was interrupted by a vibration from her pocket, causing your mom to pause and take a step aside. You repeatedly swung your legs and laid back on the small stool you were sitting in. You wondered what that call was about? Your mom walked back over, she held a slightly tense look on her face and kept chewing on her lip. "Hey sweetie, mommy has to get to work early today, are you alright with walking to school?"

You shrunk back a little, thinking of the long distance. "Uhm....o-okay."

And just with that, you were back on the icy sidewalk, coat and earmuffs back on,ready to make the treacherous journey to school. You hid your hand clothed in bandaids under your (f/c) glove, nitpicking every little detail you could fix at that moment. In reality you were just trying to stall for the long journey ahead, but just like how the rain will eventually stop pouring, you eventually ran out of excuses to not murder your legs.

"Hooooookay, its okay (Y/n),just get it over with..its no big deal" you paused with your forced smile falling. "But I don't want tooooooo."

You stuck out your lower lip in a pout, bunching your hands in you pockets, your demeanor now much more sour. At least you could admire the scenery of the snowy town, you thought it was beautiful. Thats what you continued to think, until you passed a menacing hill that held a very mysterious house that sat at the top, glowering down at the rest of the happy town. It was something akin to Frankenstein's Monster. You had to stop in your stride to stare at how the shadows seemed to center the house perfectly, giving it its menacing appearance.

The tall front gate stood slightly hung from its hinges,on account of it probably being made back in the victorian era. It made it very easy to break in, the thought gave you a sneaky smile. I mean, you wouldn't call it breaking in,you would only be taking a little peek inside. Besides, the house was practically begging for it, the open gate beckoning you inside.

"Woah...." you climbed higher up the hill, approaching the monster house [A/N: yay references] and atop the hill waiting for you was another open door. You pranced inside, seeing what was held inside the house. You were both slightly amazed, and very terrified. When you walked in you were greeted by a hall lined with rejuvenation tubes, like it was a trophy case. Underdeveloped organisms were held in each of the cells, their groans of pain worming their way through the glass and into your ears.

You immediately regretted your decision in coming here, you wanted to get out, immediately. You whipped around towards the door, only to be blinded by a sickenly bright flashlight. "AGH!"

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry" Your eyes readjusted. You saw a man who was dressed in a tropical shirt, some kahkis and a brown explorers hat. You made a disgusted face when you happened to look down to see a humanoid creature accompanying him. Was it an ape? A monkey? It certainly didn't look like one. It didn't look human either..
