Caroline when she is searching for a cure to the merge and finds out your dying.
"Talk to me. I need to know you're alive" She sobs down the phone.
"Hey Blondie" You grunted in pain when you lifted the phone to your ear.
"Thank God. How are you feeling love ?" Caroline wipes her tears.
"Like I'm about to die" You saw the veins creeping up your leg.
"Listen, try and save your breathes. I am on my way" She started packing a bag.
"Care, please don't" You shake your head at her words.
"What ?" She stops in her tracks and she realizes what you were saying.
"Don't come and find mine - I don't think you'll have time anyway" You reasoned.
"You are going to keep fighting and I will come find you" Caroline bites her lip.
"I am sorry, angel, but I can't hold on for much longer" Your tears fell freely.
Caroline takes a deep breathe and wipes the tears with the back of her sleeve.
"Hey, no crying. I feel bad enough about this without hearing you cry" You sound as though your in pain.
"But I'm about to lose you" She reasoned and you nod in agreement.
"Remember one thing for me" You gasps in pain as the veins crawl to your chest.
"Anything for you" She places her phone onto speaker.
"I want you to remember that I love you and I always have loved you" You admit.
"I love you too Y/N Gilbert with all of my heart" Caroline agrees.
The veins crawled up your neck as your left panting for air.
"Shh. I'm right here, okay ? Just hold on" Care pleads with you.
"Goodbye Caroline" You nearly lost your grip on the phone.
"Please do not leave me" Her tears freely fell down her face.
"I'm so sorry, honey, you deserved better than this" You apologise.
"Oh, baby. I don't want better if it means that I had to live without you" She went to end the call.
"See you in another life" You whisper as your final breathe leaves your lips.
Your chest eventually stops moving and your phone falls to the ground.
"See you in another life, love" She ended the phone call.
