"Nadia do you remember where you last saw your mother ?" You questioned her.
"I dont think that it would be helpful for me to share that information. It was too long ago" She shrugged in response.
"Still. It might be useful" You continue to hike through the woods.
"Its in Bulgaria five hundred years ago. I was taken away from her moments after I'd been born" Nadia replied with a sigh.
"Yeah that really doesn't help us. Do you remember, what her name is ?" You stop for a moment as you sense that someone is following you.
"What's wrong ?" She rested a hand onto your shoulder, unaware of why you had stopped.
"I dont know. Something just doesn't feel right. We should keep going" You started to lead the way once again.
"To answer your questions ... I think her name was Katherine or Katerina" Nadia shrugged in response but you'd instantly recognised the name.
"What's your last name ?" You gulped as you paused, hoping that she wasnt going to say Petrova.
"My full name is Nadia Petrova" She let's you continue leading the way.
Jeremy lined up his cross bow, targeting Nadia and putting his phone on speaker.
"Are you sure about this ?! She looks like she's harmless" He double checked with Damon over the phone.
"She is Katherine's daughter and - I don't want my little sister anywhere near her. Take the shot" Damon instructed.
Jeremy shot the arrow but, you caught it with your vamp speed.
"What the hell ?" Nadia gasps when shes gripped by a pair of string arms.
"Damon ! Why are you out here ?! I told you, I could handle her" You snapped at the older vampire.
"You didn't try to kill Nadia here, like we planned" He retorts as she turns around and snapped his neck.
Jeremy came out of the clearing to come to Damons aid but Nadia quickly knocks him out.
"Do I have to knock you out, too, Y/N ?!" She rose an eyebrow at you in shock.
You held your hand up in surrender and fell on to your knees when she kicks you in the shins.
"I didn't know, they were following us - I told Damon and Jer to stay out of it" You attempt to bargain with her.
"No ! You didn't ! You wanted to kill me ! That is why you brought me out here, in the first place" She snapped at you.
"I was trying to protect you !" You groan, getting back to your feet.
"How was that protecting me ?" She taps your chest with the end of a stake.
"I stopped that stake from killing you. If, I wanted you dead then I would have let it kill you !" You pointed out.
"You still planned to kill me. Whether you did go through with it or not" Nadia started to walk away from you.
"Nadia, wait up !!" You prepare to follow her but shes launched her wooden stake into your abdomen.
You groaned as you pulled out the stake, aware that you'd lost her.
"What the hell did I do ?" You mutters as you crouched down, to check your fresh stake wound.
