i woke up like this , i woke up like this ladies we flawless 

lauren was in the car singing to beyonces flawless while we were driving to crazy 8 lanes bowling alley. i managed to find a cute top and pair of pants at catos then i went to payless and found some flats . ill leave the shopping for another time i just really wanted to get close to my daughter to get and know her after all of these years. 

" mama " she said waking me up out of my thoughts while i sat at the red light 

it turned green 

"what you need baby ?" i asked 

" do i have a dad ?" i looked her in her eyes she was serious 

" yes you have a dad " i spoke 

" will i be able to meet him soon ?" 

"no"

"why not ?"

i took a deep breath 

" your father is a very busy man hes caught up in alot of work right now "

" oh "

"yeah but guess what "

we rolled up to othe parking place of crazy 8 lanes

" we are here !!!"

" eep !" she said oh my jesus my mother has made my daughter a true country girl

when we got in i asked the lady at the desk for a lane and she said

" hold on a second " and we went to the lane i asked for

lauren walked toward the food center

i walked after her

" i got this mama go sit back down you look tired "

she pulled out a pink mastercard

i went back to sit down

she walked over after like three minutes with nachos a burger and a hotdog

"when did you get a job ?" i asked curious

" well i actually work at miss minnies boutique and i work online too as an intern at a online firm consultant " i sat there in awe. i didnt even have a high apointed job like that when i was 15

" wow does this firm know your 15 years old ?"

"yep we had a meet and greet before and nana took me i only got it because of my grades straight a's every year baby ! oh my iq test score is bomb!!"

im suprised she knew those words. lord i got it coming

" oh my gosh im so proud of you !!!" i said sincerely

just then our lane light came on

" ready to get whooped ?" she asked

" i highly doubt it baby i used to run these lanes when i was your age "

"keyword 'used' to" we both busted up laughing 

after two hours of play time i got my butt tapped 

" yasss i run it !" lauren said out loud 

" its ok i gotchu im just out of shape right now " i said playfully 

"mhmm you dont look like it " she said
