You're met with mixed expressions when you reach the banquet room.

Odin scowls at you, Queen Frigga smiles gently at you, and Thor grins widely.

You can't help but beam at the sight of one of your best friends.

"Thor!"

You run up to him, and he instantly envelopes you in a hug.

"I've missed you, N/N. We've all missed you." Thor sets you down, "Why didn't you tell us where you were going?"

You subtly look at Odin, who's glaring a hole into your soul.

"Because she didn't come here willingly," Loki interjects.

Thor looks from his brother to you over and over, eventually landing on you.

"Is this true?" Thor inquires in a whisper before looking at his brother again, "Loki... did you take Y/N from earth?"

You quickly shake your head, "No. He didn't."

Thor squints, "Then who did?"

"A warrior took her. I learned recently she didn't come here of free will." Odin interferes.

Queen Frigga crosses her arms, "How did they get past the all-seeing Heimdall?"

"I granted him passage not knowing his real reason for going to earth." Odin quickly explains.

"Father-"

"And she wished to stay here, so I decided to have her become Loki's maiden." Odin cuts Loki off.

Queen Frigga raises a brow at him, "I would like to hear what our son has to say."

All eyes turn to Loki, making him visibly gulp.

"Well..." Loki makes contact with your pleading eyes, "That's n-"

"May I have a moment with you and Y/N?" Odin chimes in, stopping Loki yet again.

"Odin." Queen Frigga warns, "So help me, gods, you will allow my son to speak."

You tense up at the glare Odin is sending you from the corner of his eye, so Thor gently squeezes your shoulder in reassurance.

"It's okay, Y/N. We'll work this out." He whispers.

You swallow hard and nod, not being able to do much.

What the hell is going to happen? If Loki speaks up, will he be punished?... Or worse... killed. No... Queen Frigga and Thor would never allow that... but Odin is able to do whatever he wants since he is a god-king.

When you come back from your thoughts - to no surprise - Odin has weaseled his way out of allowing Loki to speak.

Loki approaches you and lightly takes your hand in his, guiding you out of the room behind Odin.

As you leave, you see Thor and Queen Frigga staring at you three as they talk in hushed tones.

When you reach the hallway, you pull your hand from Loki's grasp and face a fuming Odin.

"What is wrong with you, Loki?" Odin sighs, "You're a disappointment."

He then turns to you, "And you! What is wrong with you?"

You scoff, "Do you expect me to go along with your stupid scheme?"

Odin goes to grab you, but Loki steps in front of you, pushing you behind him a bit as he holds out his dagger.
