^What i picture Asher looks like
Asher P.O.V
I'm so ready to leave this god awful house and go to Penn State, my dream school. It's the last week of summer before I have to leave for college. I've had been working my ass off with my coaches emailing colleges trying to get them to recruit me (sadly gymnastics recruitment is a bit different then normal sports). My parents were no help, but to be honest i didn't want their help. They've been a great financial support system but as parents, they weren't really present. They were always focused with my other siblings.
First born was Sasha shes 22, has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, she's 5'6", and is at Harvard Law School. She is super smart, like ridiculously smart. She was her class valedictorian, she had to give a speech and everything. Mom is really smart and athletic; she always made sure she went to all of Sasha's science fairs and debate competitions. Sasha didn't need much help from our parents though. She only really needed their support, and of course got it. She was the first girl and got everything. We weren't super close. The second born was Tristen he's 21 with blonde hair, blue eyes like dad, he's 6'2", and got a soccer scholarship at Virginia Tech University. He's a goalie and a damn good one at that. Dad tried to get him to do football and he did, for a little while. Tristen always said he didn't love football like dad does. He always told me that he didn't appreciate getting sacked all the time. Dad helped out a lot though when he decided to be a goalie. I mean Tristen was practically catching soccer balls, and dad was a QB, i think it worked well.
The third born was Ollie he's 20, light brown hair, Hazel eyes, he's 6'4", and got a scholarship to Duke University for swim. He's a momma's boy and always will be. Mom was his best friend and biggest cheerleader and coach. I mean mom's a former swimming Olympian, i don't think you could ask for a more experienced coach. He's also freakishly smart like Sasha is. He's in some type of engineering program. I don't understand half the stuff that comes out of his mouth; but I'm proud of him.
The fourth born is my favorite sister Cassie. She is 19, blonde hair, hazel eyes, she's 5'7", she's a Model like mom and is a singer. She always did pageants and mom was all over her like Ollie. She made sure she had the perfect dress, practiced her model walk, got her photos taken, she started making money with modeling by the age of 13. She loves music though, she had to ask dad if she could do vocal and instrument lessons behind moms back. Mom was furious at first but came to terms with it. She always loved music more then modeling and i personally saw her happy doing it. She played the saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, flute, piano, ukulele, guitar, and had a beautiful voice. She had an argument with our parents a last year because she wanted to go to college for music and mom wanted her to sign a victorious secret contract. Which was a good deal apparently. Cassie ended up signing it and putting college to the side for now. I think she's planning on going to college in a year or two wether mom likes it or not.
And the last two are my Twin brother Kayden and I. We are both 18 and are seniors at Mary View North High school. Kayden and i have dark brown hair, he has dark brown eyes while i have green eyes, we both have freckles across our faces, Kayden's is 6'4" while I'm the shortest in the family, due to gymnastics, probably, at 5'2". Kayden's a QB just like dad, somehow and some miraculous way he got a scholarship to Penn state as well (note the sarcasm). I'm not gonna complain to much since i will have my best friend at college. We have literally been joined at the hip since the minute we came out of the womb. The doctors told my parents that we were both boys so when my mom gave birth and found out i was a girl it was a bit of a shock. They had boy names already picked out for the both of us. Dad wanted to keep the name Asher for me since he thought it was a badass girls name. Which i have to agree with him on that. They made Kayden's his so they could nickname him Kayde but it never stuck.
Kayden was a very protective older brother. He always tried to include me with going to parties and his friends and i appreciated it since me and my best friend Allee (who was also a gymnast) didn't always have the time to party. Kayden always new our parents didn't pay any attention to me i mean why would they?
I was a 4th year level 10 gymnast who had to work my ass off to get a scholarship to Penn state. My coaches and teammates have been the best support system. Especially my best friend Allee who is also going to Penn State with a scholarship. My parents had no clue what to do or how to parent a gymnast and didn't really care since i was the last child. They gave up trying to remember all the skill terms and levels when i was a level 4. My Dad never went to any of my meets and by the time i could start driving or flying by myself my mom didn't either. Every time she was at a meet she would be on her phone the whole time. Kayden, Cassie, and Tristen would come whenever they could. They were my only support system i got from my family.
Kayden never misses a meet, i mean never. Yeah he's been late multiple times due to games, but instead of partying after his games he goes straight to where my meets are and cheers me on. I couldn't have asked for a better twin.
I'm ready to leave this awful town called Mary View with stuck up rich kids who think they are all it. I'm ready to leave this terrible high school. That gave me and Allee absolutely nothing. I'm ready to leave my parents house and to live on my own. I'm ready to not have to watch my parents celebrate everything my brother and sisters did except for me because they didn't understand my accomplishments like regionals, Easterns, or Nationals. They didn't give an effort to understand them anyway. They weren't present much in my life and after i graduate they probably will only see me during the holidays. I'm so ready to start my life and to get the opportunity to reach beyond the shadows.
